My spouse suffers from severe mood swings, has little to no sleep most of the time, is extremely emotional (either too sad or has some rage issues), complains of terrible nightmares when he does sleep, and has even told me he has another "him" that is constantly trying to affect his choices and personality. This was said at a time where he seemed very open to speak to me, but these moments are few and far between. I have expressed that I believe he should see "someone" as an avenue to getting him some help. My husband quickly reacted negatively when I suggested he see someone. This issue affects our marriage ( I am constantly walking on egg shells to avoid conflict), and our two small children. Am I being too paranoid? I began anti-anxiety meds this year as an avenue for me to cope with this situation...but maybe I'm just over-reacting. I would really love some advice from people who are professionals or from those who have been through something similar. Thanks.

Me and my best friend have been best friends for 6 years and since we've gotten older things have changed and I don't want to be friends anymore. He is always yelling at me about the bills not being able to get payed and he refuses to go to work all the time....if he misses work we dont get paid...then when I cant pay a bill or we are in the red then he yells and screams and yells at me demanding an answer to why we are in the red and blames me......I dont know what to do I guess I need some advice on how to talk to him without screaming back and how to do our finances...when our bills exceed his paycheck what do I do? he wants to remain friends, but he's so cruel. he didnt even acknowledge my birthday today and i'm round at our 2nd home (because i need space), he only called me at 4 today to briefly say happy birthday. later he called to ask if he should come around, besides that, even though all my family is in za, he didnt bother to even bring me a card... he is abusive at times too, he says his family is estranged from him, but he forgets his only family member who bothers to contact him, he forgot her b/day too. i had to remind him twice!!! i dont care for fancy things, just wanted to be near someone who cares...is that too much to ask for.
