Here's the deal...I have a friend who has 3 kids and her husband's a JERK. You can barely even call him a father. He leaves her alone ALL OF THE TIME and leaves for various 'trips' with his buddies. Most of the time he leaves all weekend and he doesn't even tell her when he's leaving until he's walking out of the door. He won't even tell her where he's going but the worst part is that she doesn't even ask. I think he's cheating on her, but she seems blissfully ignorant and depressed. What irritates me the MOST is that she has this attitude like all husbands are good for nothing and CRITICIZES other guys when she is openly IGNORING HER OWN HUSBAND'S ANTICS. I don't feel it's my place to say anything, especially if she hasn't even asked my opinion, but I also can't stand listening to her discuss other people's relationships when her's is obviously HORRIBLE. It's like she's making her situation seem better by making everyone else's sound just as bad or worse...What should I do?

i am thinking about joining yahoo personals, however, am told that being a paying member is fine and all but in order for others to get your contact info when you send it to them in a message, they have to also be a paying member.... is that right? what's the point of being a paid member when you can't give anyone your contact info in a message?

my girlfriend and I gained weight since our relationship started. she gained over 50 pounds and I gained over 60 pounds! she is 5'11" and weighs 185 pounds and I'm 6'2" tall and weigh 235 pounds. we were both skinny and unhappy. she was a recovering anorexic when I met her. I learned how to cook and we started eating big meals together whenever we could and the weight started to pack on. we both now love to eat.she went from a size 2 to a size14/16 in about a year and a half! my so called friends hassle me about having a fat girlfriend. they call her "buttgirl","miss pizza queen",etc. they even started making fun of me too:( every inch of her is beautiful in my eyes. seeing her whenever she's wearing nothing but a tight tank top and her hanes her way size 8 hi-cut panties is a major turn-on to me!! she tells me that I still look sexy to her even with a big belly and big butt.

He says he is sorry that he wants me to forgive him and let him make me fall in love with him again, all he asks is that I stop reminding him of his affair and stop asking questions about it. He says he wants to live the rest of his life with me and that he loves me and most of the time he shows it but how can I forget and stop nagging him about the affair. It all happened over a couple of months ago. How can I trust him again when I know he works with women all the time? The person he cheated with was a co-worker. We have been together for 5 years. She is 23 and I am 25.

She told me about 6 months ago that she really wanted to start trying for a baby.

I told her that we can start trying to conceive next year because our house will be paid off then.

We will have $0 debt next year and I wan't to be 100% financially stable when she gets pregnant.

With no mortgage payment we will have $2400 a month for a baby, retirement, college savings, etc.

She agreed to wait, but I can tell she is upset.

She talks about babies a lot and I get the vibe that her feelings are hurt that we will be together for 6-7 years before she is even pregnant.

To make it worse, her friend just got pregnant by her boyfriend of a year.

What do I do to comfort her?

What can I do to get her mind off of a baby until next year?

I am going to give her a baby, its just not the right time now.

ok ive been giving anwsers for a while now. im 13. whenever a kid comes and ask a question you dont anwser the question and your not a very big help. i dont ask many questions i ussually just anwser but every single time kids ask a question adults assume its a big joke (although ussually it is) some kids ask completely legit questions and you all just make fun of it .

I don't mean to generalize or anything, but it seems like all of the good guys are taken or just don't care. So many men that I've come across are players and don't care about having a relationship. I know not all of you are that way, but sometimes it's hard to think otherwise. Friends like when I help,or stand up for them when they need me most.Also listen to their problem(s) and help them like they've helped me.I lend a shoulder/arm to cry on and tell them everything's gonna be ok.

People I know and don't know like when I help if they drop somethin' I pick it up for them.If they need to find something I help them.Also care for them even if they're strangers or not.

My ex husband is remarried. We've been divorced for 5 years. About once a week he will call, and you can tell he calls to talk to ME, since he'll call while the kids are in school and he knows that. He never has much to say, he just continues to try to make conversation. He was abusive to me in the marriage. Why do you think he makes calls to me like this, even after 5 years, and even though he's remarried. He's caused chaos all around him and he's not the one affected by it. He's a cab driver although he's only worked three hours over the past two weeks. She bought the car for him on a loan and she's now making the payments. He's meant to be saving up to move out (this week) but she found letters from credit card companies and bailiffs threatening to sue him. He's in absolute denial. He's now linked to her financially and she's got no idea what to do next. He hasn't paid for his taxi insurance for this month so that's his excuse for not working. My 12 yr old daughter just lost a best friend to an automobile accident this past weekend. She is taking it bad. Shes very hateful towards me. I dont know what to do. Ive tried to ease her pain by telling her that her friend is in heaven now and is better off than we are, but i know that doesnt make it hurt any less. My daughter and her other friends are gonna have some very difficult days ahead of them within the next few weeks. I'm gonna keep her out of school for a day or two atleast until after the funeral. I'm scared i'm just gonna make things worse for her and she'll become distant. What should I do to help her through this? This is hard for all of us because this little girl was such a blessing to everyone who knew her.

My ex and I broke up about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I am still very much in love with him and would do anything to have him back. He said he wanted to be friends and leave the door open for future potential. I agreed because I want him in my life. I have not begged or pleaded for him to come back and have tried being friends. Since the breakup, he's met someone else and is already calling her his g/f (3 1/2 wks after me). But, he keeps emailing me and trying to keep in contact with me...like we're best friends. We have not gone more than 4 days without some kind of contact...of which he has initiated. I want him back and don't know how to go about getting him back...esp. now that he's got someone else. One part of me wants to be responsive to him b/c I feel if I'm not, then he's just going to go away. But the other part of me feels like I shouldn't respond (go NC) with the hope that he'd miss me and realize that we should be together. Any suggestions?
