I knew tons growing up.
They eventually discovered pot and kissing... which turned into pot and necking, which turns into pot and shower together... you get the point.
Others eventually discovered alchohol and kissing.
Sometimes they discovered a guy that had every intention of marrying them, deeply in love... all that fun stuff. He either gets in her pants and stays in her pants for a year or so, gets in her pants and disappears into the night, or breaks up with the girl and has hot dirty sex with the slightly chubby chick that has a reputation for sleeping with lots of guys. I've never known a high school relationship turning into a satisfying marriage.
All told, I knew a lot of girls who said they were "waiting until marriage" because that's the "good girl" thing to do, and takes the pressure off having sex with stupid boys. Generally by freshman year in college, they've had it, love it... and are with a guy that appreciates them.
Unless they get bitter... bitter girls are no fun at all.
