It was recently discovered that I had an emotional affair. I mean, I was talking to another women on the Internet and phone. We would text message each other all times of the morning while my wife was asleep. Recently, my wife found out about it, she really does not want to have anything to do with me. She told me that I destroyed the trust in our marriage. She also told me that I have put energy into this other woman. My wife now thinks that this could have happened before without her knowing it. I have told her that I am sorry, but she will not let it go. Am I wrong to think that my wife is overreacting. I have tried to tell her that we only talked about basketball, life, and other issues. My wife refuses to believe me. She basically told me that who talks about such things at 4 in the morning. It has been 4 months since the discovery of 2000 phone calls and text messages. Is it over for us? Is she overreacting?

There's this co-worker('John')whom I find really cute, another co-worker told John that I like him, then me and John started IMing each other at work, I gave him my # but he never called, even though he said he will, then he told me that his car broke down and it sux that he couldn't take me out on a date. I feel that he likes me too, but i could be wrong since he never called, and he never asks me anything about me. He's nice to everyone, maybe I'm just being silly to think that he likes me and will ask me out someday. I'd ask him out but we'd get in my car and I think his ego might not be able to handle that. So you guys think he's just being nice/flirty or what? Any advices would be nice, thanks.

I dated this girl until a few days ago.She was nice loving and caring,i reflected the love back she even once told me that she wishes i could be her husband in future. But then she started to bring confusion saying her church does not permit our situation because of different religious churches.I brushed it off coz of what i felt for her.Still it bothered her coz i couldnt be part of her church.I never asked her to join me.She decided that we couldnt be and so we broke up.she hurts when i call her.I am so calm yet feel so betrayed and upset.I like to keep good friendly ties but this person did the worst to me.I wonder whether it is necessary for me to still talk to her, does she need me?i wonder where she has taken her heart.any advice...?

A woman came home, screeching her car into the driveway, and ran into the house. She slammed the door and shouted at the top of her lungs, "Honey, pack your bags. I won the lottery!"

The husband said, "Oh my God! What should I pack, beach stuff or mountain stuff?"

"Doesn't matter," she said. "Just get the hell out."

My husband is a freelance graphic designer, but he has never been very successful. He graduated at age 29, and has since done many small projects, but he has not been able to find a permanent job in this field, or establish a steady income. He is 32 now. He has a big dream now of starting his own design firm and has spent every day for the past 3 months building a website. But he has no capital, no business experience, no contacts and we are both loaded with debts. I basically support the both of us on my salary, and I won't take the chance of having kids in this financial situation, despite the fact that we both really want kids. I dont have that much time left. I try to encourage him to look for jobs, but I end up being the one doing the job search, and he only applys to the jobs with half-baked resumes. He basically makes no effort, and its clear he wants to be a freelancer, even if he makes no money. What can I do? I dont want to be the breadwinner forever.

I'm getting married in Peru. Most of my family already lives there but I have to get my family and friends from the US and my fiance's family from the UK (including young, non-working cousins) down to South America!

Taking things like finances, time off from work, etc. into consideration, how far in advance should I plan for the wedding?

I always hang what needs hanging, and fold and put the rest
away. But I do not iron them, until I am going to wear them out
in public. My hubby thinks most house holds iron them as soon as they come out of the dryer. I know they dont ! lets put it up for a vote!

Bit of an odd one. My gf went home and i called her after work and she was going to sleep, so I went to my friends. On the way i thought i would drop by and see her on the off chance she was awake..no light was on so i didnt stop but her dad saw me outside n told her, as she'd just woken up. she then called me n didnt really say anything..n i said i was going to my friends n explained why i went round on the off chance...n she didnt rly say anything. after some bumbling chat.. she said she might speak to me later.. so i went to my friends, left my fone in my car n she had txt me goodnite, i hadnt seen this obv as it was in my car so i didnt txt bk as i didnt want to wake her. later on she txt me "so i dont get a gd night then" and then it all kicked off..saying she only wanted to make sure i was ok..which is fine..but now she feels i dont care about her and all sorts. tried to explain my point of view but she doesnt want to know. Any ideas? Sorry..bit of a long one!

My bofriend is going back to the States we were together for almost four years now and live like a real couple. The thing is he told me that there's no certainty about us when he goes back and cannot promise me about the future. Should I just leave him prior to his flight back to the US or just wait and see? Help me to see the light of the day please? Thanks.

3 monts ago,i met a guy.the 1st time i met him,i thought he would be a decent guy(non egotistical).1nce i got to know him,he presented himself the exact opposite of what i described.he's been asking you out, talking to you, flirting with you, etc, whereas he has a gurlfren.the way he talks to me was some kind of a sweet talk.i guess he sweet talks just to get attention,no doubt that he''s egotistical.but there's just something about him that you like you just dont know what it is,that makes u fall in love with him(when all he's just doing is taking advantage of you, maybe).suddenly u confess to him that u like him more than just frens.was it the rite thing to do:
a)act all egotistical when u feel that he mite take advantage of you(bsides he's clingy).
b)think she's a ***** for taking sumbodys boyfren
c)or whatever it is thats in ur minds
