I am a Musician who is more than just dedicated and my happiness is to play. She, however, has no hobbies, etc. she just likes being with me and the only other thing in her life is going to college. She's taking a class for music recording so she can have some involvement. However, she wants to also be a singer in a band she wants to create with me, from scratch, with absolutley no experience whatsoever. On my side, I have been in a band for a long time whom I have become personal, close friends with, but she doesn't want me to jam with them, just delete them from my life because almost five years ago now, I cheated on her when I was with the band. That's her excuse. All I want to do is play and she can record us. I thought it would be a great idea, but no, she wants to sing and start over new with people I don't know and waiting to even get people. What do you think, ...?

funny or serious, soppy or lovely stories of your birthday. My 21st was really cool. I was holidaying on Mallorca and had a big outdoor party with friends from France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy, UK, Ireland, Holland, South Africa and Switzerland. We all got along great, went swimming in the sea, danced all night and I'll never forget it. everyone brought something to eat from their country and had a good time. today is special too. as my bf who is very reserved and chooses cards very carefully, has given me a card full of love messages and hearts. he's blown me away!

Has anyone ever had a friend you wanted to part with? Not because you didn’t get along with them, but instead you were on different roads in life? My friend had so many things going good and then as soon as they went sour, started to resort to drugs and drinking, has been unemployed for two months now and is going at 100 miles an hour. She'll take one step in the right direction and then does something to counter to set her back even further.

Emotionally it’s starting to drag me down too because we have been emotionally and spiritually connected. (She helped me find god again and inspired me to write once more). And it has become too much for me and while she is considers me as her best friend, I for some reason am mentally ready to let her go. Does that make me a bad best friend?

i answered a question not too long ago about 'who pays'. alot of the answers stated that the guy always pays. in my country both parties pay for different things. just the way it is. lots of friends of mine say that if a guy pays all the time, they are being taken for a ride.

Every time I see my friend, she keeps saying "bless you" in a very patronising way. For example, if I find something funny, she'll say, "Bless her" and when I showed her a photo of me at my friends' wedding, she said, "Oh, bless her". I have finally found a guy I really love and sometimes I need to put him and the other arrangements in my life first. I have a friend who lives a distance away and invites herself down and then gets upset if my arrangements don't fit her plans and tries to force us to rearrange our plans to fit with her like she's 'testing' us to see how far she can push us, last time she came we rearranged everything and then she got hideously drunk and was rude to my boyfriend and myself and then I had to spend 1/2 the night comforting her while she cried, and in the morning she just laughed when we reminded her of her behaviour. She's been a friend a long time but I'm running out of patience with her, she's rude and difficult with us and gets stroppy if she can't have things her own way. What's the answer?
