Because you have lost someone you used to care deeply for and now that persons with someone else. So you get pretty jealous. Go out with other people, the jealousy will lessen. But it may not totally disappear since you probably still have lingering intense feelings towards your former boyfriend. Don't fret though, when you find someone else, you will find it easier to get over this feeling - especially if you truly fall deeper in love with this other person.

Knowing who broke off the relationship and why would help to answer this question better, so I'll just leave you with a few things to think about.
Could it be that he has moved on and found happiness with someone else?
Could it be that you find it hard to deal with that he has replaced you with another girl?
It could also be that you now remember what it is you liked/loved about him in the first place.

It's natural for us girls to feel jealous/angry at any other girls who have any relations with men we once/still knew/know. I myself abhor my brother's girlfriend because she's a downright whore looking for joyrides!
