My sister claims to love her son and puts him first but the only thing in her menu is her b/f which they fight constantly. In the meantime my nephew suffers and became attached to me and my mom. So me and my mom (when she can) does everything for him from the time he wakes up in the moring untill the time he goes to sleep. Everyone always thinks he's my kid cuz they see me always taking care of him. All she does is by him name brand cloths and food sometimes. She always out either doing something or with her b/f or his family. She rather be wit her b/f family than wit her own. Now I don't want my nephew to be so attached to me cuz when he calls anyone else mom she gets mad and hit him. But instead of watchin him and spend time with him she puts him in front of the tv while she go handle herslef. I'm so sick of it my friends always fight wit me cuz I never have time for them I'm always minding a kid that's not mine. But how do I make my sister take care of my him w/o him havin to suffer

Since I saw him we talked about it and I told him that it upset me, I have since caught him a couple more times and found evidence that he does it regularly. It's making me feel a bit inadequate, is this a normal thing for men to do? We have been married for 6 years and have a baby

The person who owe me money is a friend or like a big sister. I had helped her transfer her credit card balance to mine so that she can avoid extream finance charges she was getting. She only made the minimum payment to that/my credit card after she transfered $3500. I had especially applied for a credit card then just so that she could transfer her balance. And I didn't even use a penny from that card.
But almost a year ago I paid all of that balance cuz I realized it was affecting my credit history since she was missing on payments & got couple of late fees & also she was only paying the minimum payments & nothing extra.
Then I told her that I paid them off & now she can pay me directly at her convinience. She was happy & glad that I helped her out & agreed to pay me directly. But now it's almost a year & I haven't received a penny.
So the question is how do I remind her politely that she owed me money & pay me atleast something, I would'nt even mind if its just $50 or $100 a month!?

Why is it that so many guys are into just hooking up one night and never talking to you again? Is there a such thing as a guy who wants to continue talking to a girl? Or am I just missing something?

Everyone says I'm looking in the "wrong" places...so then what, exactly, is a "right" place to find a genuine guy (if there is a such thing) ?

I think my husband is going through some sort of change. He is 45 and is slowly turning into a grumpy old man and a control freak. He has developed man boobs and a beer gut within a matter of weeks. We argue constantley and I am begining to fall out of love with him. He will chat up young women in front of me and usually come out with some crude comment which is totally embarrashing
for them and me. Are there any other women out there who have experienced the same. We have been together for 15 years. Of which 13 have been brilliant.

Maybe it was to keep from having to talk to someone you did not want to, or maybe to seem busy… but in any case have you ever done it?

i have been living with my fiance for 2 yrs...last night was the last straw, he has been abusive verbally, mentally, and physically (pushed me down many times, held me down, and slapped me once). the names and insults and put downs caused me to attempt suicide last night, i guess you call it that, i took 15 over the counter sleeping pills, when i showed him the empty box he left me. he says the cruelest things to me and he may be looking at jail time for a dui and last week he got 5 more tickets, i do not have any children with him, told me i was the worst thing to ever happen to him and he always said the best i even put a truck in MY name for HIM, I i have no family or really any friends, i need to take myself and my 2 children to a shelter, i have a full time job, will they let me stay? even my 16 yr old son has a job, will they turn us away? i have 2 vehicles in my name ( i need to sell one) will they turn me away, i need help, i want to die due to this man, i live in alabama.

We have one class together and everyday we talk to eachother. He is always telling me about his basketball games and stuff like that. We never speak to eachother in the halls we just wave or say hi to eachother. Does he like me or is he just being friendly?
If does seem like he likes me how can I show I'm intereted.

beautiful, genuine, lovely is he

who walks in the moonlight

under the stars with me

stroking my hair

singing a song

making all right

that once was wrong

will he remember the night

we laid in the grass

dreaming about the future

and sharing our past

knowing eachother

on the cold earth so bare

the fresh smell of spring

in the brisk night air....

I could never forget

the way he looked at me

happy , content

and lovingly

some day I'll look that way too

when he comes back to me

I'll look in his eyes

Happy ,content ,and lovingly...

I recently bought a brand new flat on a new development and down in the site office is a guy that I really fancy - he is gorgeous! I also know that he referred to me as a "gorgeous girl" to one of the other people buying a flat in my block and I know that he's single. He's helped me with initial problems I had in my flat so to try and give him a hint I popped a thank you card through the sales office letter box saying maybe he could let me buy him a drink sometime...what response have I had? Nothing! It was a really casual message in the card but now I feel a bit embarrassed that he hasn't responded (this all happened last week and I know he has the card). So what do I do now? Could he just be biding his time or should I just cut my losses and forget it?
