It honestly depends on the people. Different ages and religions will always throw some stumbling blocks in your paths, and things will be difficult at times. But live will always throw some curves your way, so don't think that by eliminating the age and religion factors that things will necessarily be easier. These are just two more obstacles that you will have to deal with; if you are prepared to work a little harder sometimes to make things work, then there is nothing to worry about. So long as you truly understand and respect your differences and are willing to work with them rather than against them, your marriage will be fine.

Important to consider? Yes. But ultimately it is up to the two people involved as to how important these (or any) issues will be. Significant differences in age or caste can cause difficulties and MIGHT be a problem, but not always. The important thing is that the issues are addressed and not ignored. Once done you (or those involved) will know where they stand.

well age might just be considered a much better factor than caste from where i am from. but then globally i think yes they are. we often seem to think that in this modern world things like that shouldn't be but then realistically they are. Its really important to certain people that caste and age be respected. However i feel that they shouldn't. Love is Love. If you understand what it means, well it wouldn't be such a big deal. caste to me is just a crazy factor and should be done away with totally

Age yes- if the gap is too big sometimes you out grow or end up in a different stage of life then that person. I knew someone who was 10 younger then her husband and they were good for 20 years until he hit retirement age and wanted to slow down... well she was only 47 and got tired of it and left him for a younger man!
I don't know what caste really is.........

Honestly - it truely depends on the maturity and the mentality of each individual person. I am 10 years younger than my fiance and I am Catholic and he is Baptist. We have been together for 8 years and are getting married in october. Emotionally we meet in the middle, and we are both respectful of each others religion, and keep an open mind. Not all individuals are open minded or emotionally capable enough to handle a relationship that might have an age diiference or differ in religious beliefs.

I think anything more than 10 years age difference can be a problem. and caste shouldn't matter. Unless its important to you.
