I'm 16 and i can't remember a time my Mom has been there for me sure she Argues with me and tells me to do stuff for her but when i have a problem she ignores me and gets on the computer for 6 hours or until i go to sleep so she doesn't have to deal with me. She had depression. should i forgive her for not being there for me? how do i do that?

My wife drinks and does cocaine all most everyday and want to split cause she is unhappy and depressed and blames it on me. I work and make a good living and have showered my wife with nice things for 4 years and she does not work. She shops, spends money, drinks and does drugs, we have house keepers and no kids and I still can’t get a hot meal on the table when I get home so my wife is basically on vacation permaninenty with no responsibilities at all. Unfortunately I have enabled her to be lazy. I work and make a living and pay for everything so we are going to get divorced and she gets 1/2 of all the money I have saved and property I have bought? Then I have to pay her alimony, DAMN. I am self employee so should I just go on vacation and not earn anymore money cause I have to pay more if I earn more? Help I need advice!

I am 47 and I appreciate the comments. I would just like to know where the right on is and how to find him? I am helping my daughter with her children at this time, but I sitll feel that I am young and able but it is hard to find the fight one even though i have offers. Advice?

I always have this question in my mind. Me & my bf are an life example. My family is a typical Chinese family in China whereas my bf's is a Christian family, speaking English.

I met him in Singapore during studies and we have been together for 1yr 5 mths..

I scare that next time if we are going to married, how can our parents communicate? My parents only can speak Chinese(my dad knows English though, but Singapore English is quite different from standard English), his parents only speak English(her mother knows a bit Chinese only) and he can speak some Chinese but not that good...

Will our marriage be affected by this?? (i'm 21 this yr, he is 23 next yr)

I have a g/f and i don't know if she actually climaxes or if she is close to an orgasm but doesn't. I ask this because sometimes we are just dry humping and it seems like she gets off. Both being of foreign descent: If a 3 year old infant is placed in the atmosphere of English speaking people, and the same is true for an adult, why is it easier for the infant to pick up the "ear" for the sounds than it is for the adult who can already speak a language?

He had the affair while him and my mother were having significant marital problems. They were separated when this happened. He just found out that he had an older daughter. She wants to get to know him, but this is just devastating to the entire family. I am the youngest of 6 children. I am 16. We are all very close in the family. My two brothers and two of my older sisters are being receptive to this person, Mary. I don't know what to make of it. One of my sisters, Becky, the oldest, wants nothing to do with Mary or my father. My father wants to get know her, but this could cost him my mother. She also stated he should try to build a relationship, but she may not be able to build one with Mary and leave to avoid him having to chose between them. I am the only child left at home. I know my parents love each other. I do not know how to help my parents. I want them to stay together, but I know it would be very difficult. Can you help me tell my parents how to handle this situation?

what is it with fathers wanting to be control freaks, maybe its just men in general, my dad is very stuborn he's has a rule that none of his family can tell him what he's doing wrong, infact when he's yelling at you (mainly me-his pregnant single already stressed out 19 year old daughter) your not allowed to speak or fight in your defence, not before not during not after, and its not because im pregnant he;s just always been like this, anyone else have similar experiences???

I don't understand, he said forever, but he says he dosen't want to date me anymore. I don't understand, and I feel ugly all over and want to die. I've been wallowing in my own self-pity, and no matter what I do, a part of me still thinks that he will come back, and that same part is willing to wait. What should I do? He told me very clearly that he won't come back, and when I think that, I don't want to live. I don't have insurance, so don't suggest therapy, because I wouldn't be able to go.

We have a beautiful 16 month old son. My wife constantly finds fault with everything I do (even when I do what she asks), and explodes into cruel, spitting rages. Our son is suffering from this situation. Wife is in total denial. She wants a divorce, then wants revenge, then says she is trying to make it better. How do I get her some help? Me and My ex broke up on June 26. We met online, then in person, had a good relationship with one another, so i thought. He broke up with me 5 days before my birthday. He said it was because I didn't trust him, but it was so hard for me to trust him when he kept bringing up different girls. He was gonna give me a promise ring on my birthday. Anyways, We got into a huge fuss after breaking up, said some harsh things to one another. I just signed onto my old yahoo account and he's left me messages telling me he regrets the things he said to me and that he is sorry for hurting me so much. He tells me to reply back just so he knows that I'm receiving his messages, even if it's to tell him to leave me alone. He says he wants to be friends, but I don't know. I haven't spoken to him, those were offline messages. I am over him now, I don't wanna fall for him again. I loved him more than life itself. If you were me, What would you do? Stay away or do what he wants and become friends with him?

i want to kill myself , but i choose not to cause of some of my friends and my mom and my sister.
having depression seems to be one of the most difficult problems that i seem to have to deal with in my life everyday for the past couple of years.
depression makes me feel different and makes me feel helpless. when my ex. boyfriend gets mad at me then i get really upset and then start to hurt myself. when my family gets me angry, i also hurt myself. certain people dont understand how it feels after i hurt myself. hurting myself is like a drug to me...i just cant stop its too addicting. i feel like im nothing and hurting myself seems to help me stay alive instead of fully killing myself all the way.
