My wife drinks and does cocaine all most everyday and want to split cause she is unhappy and depressed and blames it on me. I work and make a good living and have showered my wife with nice things for 4 years and she does not work. She shops, spends money, drinks and does drugs, we have house keepers and no kids and I still can’t get a hot meal on the table when I get home so my wife is basically on vacation permaninenty with no responsibilities at all. Unfortunately I have enabled her to be lazy. I work and make a living and pay for everything so we are going to get divorced and she gets 1/2 of all the money I have saved and property I have bought? Then I have to pay her alimony, DAMN. I am self employee so should I just go on vacation and not earn anymore money cause I have to pay more if I earn more? Help I need advice!

Sorry but there is no way to get away from that finacially, but you damn sure dont need to stop making money just cause you gotta give her half. She'll hit rock bottom and wanna do something or kill herself with her habits soon. But unfortunatly divorce as well as marriage is expensive. So your divorce is definatly about to eat the *** out of the end of your bank. Get Ready! Good Luck!

Sell your assets before divorce (house, cars, furniture etc.) Put all the money into an accounts in Caemens or Swiss accounts. Go on permanent vacation somewhere else in the world.

Create separate accounts to de-link the finances. I would never recommend funneling money somewhere that doesn't show-up on the radar would be bad. However, here is a link to information. Bankruptcy is not the only option, but I think it can be tricky. Hope the link can help.

Don't give her a divorce. Make her suffer. Just get your own place and move on. I would never give her the satisfaction of any of what you have earned, and I am a woman.
