My future Mother-in-Law is absolutely the most crazy person I have ever met. She verbally attacks my fiance and is extremely phony. She acts friendly to your face and stabs you in the back the minute you aren't looking. My boyfriend just finished culinary arts school and she wants to take out a home equity loan out and open a restaurant and be partners. First of all, that is just dumb. If the business fails, then she loses her house. My fiance is trying so hard to cut the apron strings and she just keeps trying to hold on. Not to mention she hates me, and I've done nothing to her or her family. She wants to be supported financially, yet she treats people like garbage and claims she is a church woman cuz she reads the bible and goes to church. My fiance is starting to resent his mother and that is just sad. So with that said, any suggestions?

my friend recently sent me an invite that had a littkle bit of card in saying " it is your presence,not your presents that will make our wedding day, so please don't feel obliged to give a gift away for those who want to thankyou very much vouchers or money for our saving pot would be great for us but most importantly we request that you turn up as our wedding guest!"
i think that is great and want to put something along thise lines but don't want the same does anyone know of any sites that does this? or of any little poems that could go inside an invite,definately not a gift list card,that is just wrong!! also thanks to everyone that has responded to my other questions, i have taken all your answers on board! please help wedding is fast approaching and need to send out invites asap!

I know that I am needy and I am going to stop being like that and I want to apologize to my boyfriend for being like that. I just need a little more attention from him sometimes. We don't get to talk as much because he is always busy doing stuff for his dad. He says it isn't his fault he is so busy. I need some advice on what I should say when I apologize to him. How can I make it up to him? Should I ask him for more attention? Because if I got more attention I think I would be happier.
