we were going out great, and we loved each other, but one day we met at a date, and he told me he needed time alone, so he could finish school, and fix some personal family problems. He asked me if I would wait for him, and told me that it wasn't like we were over, that we weren't over, that he still loved me so much, but that if i would just wait for him, because he needed his time alone to fix those personal problems. But im confused as to if we're together or not, first he tells me he needs time alone, then specifies that we're not over...which is it? of course i didn't ask but I need to know, and i don't know what to do, i'm still so in love with him. We hardly talk, he's always so busy with work til' late, and sometimes he's just too busy or asleep from being so tired.

is having a birthday party for her 1 yr old son. My ex is not his dad. My ex and I share 2 children, and I am getting married soon. We have been invited to the party, is it rude if we only send the children, as the new girlfriend really does not like me, and feels very threatned by me and I don;t want to put a damper on her sons first birthday.

Ok i know this might sound stupied but today i was chillen with my crush/roomate and my brother flew in from texas and brung this girl that he knew well anyways my brother doesnt know that i like my roommate alot and he is trying to set that girl up with my crush and i think that he likes her and i know she like him and now im sooo jelous i dunno what to do i dont even know her and i already hate her. I told him that i liked him and that i dont want her in my house or see them togethor and he just laughed and said that he really likes her and wants to get to know her better and i dunno what to do now someone pls help?

I am trying to break up with my bf although I still love him. We have not been in contact for more than 2 months. I cant stand the days of staring at my phone, waiting for him to call and end up crying myself to sleep. He's a divorcee and I'm afraid that he will go back to his wife one day. Although he assured me that he wants to be with me and start a family but I still feel that our relationship is just sexual and that he just wants to have sex with me. I feel that I'm just a toy that he's using to spite his wife. I feel so miserable thinking of him everyday. What shall I do? Shall I end this and pretend that it never happened before? :<

My husband and I have a joint checking account, and my entire salary is directly deposited in that account. I told my husband I want to deposit 10% of my paycheck to my own separate checking account. He thinks I am being unreasonable. Before we were married, I was an independent woman who handled my own finances. And I don't like having to justify every single little purchase to him... he always makes me feel guilty about $50 haircuts, $100 at the Gap, pedicures, eating out during my lunchbreak, etc. I work hard for my money and I don't want to put up with the guilt trip.

whats a good location in general for a b-day party?
im not one to take my child to chucke cheese or anything like that.
Im more along the lines of having very elaborate parties but last year i had it at my house and im looking to take the party somewhere else...maybe with a pool? its a pirate party...he is turning 5. any ideas?

We like each other so, so much, but we don't know what to do because our families don't want us to be together. They keep us as far away from each other as possible, and we don't know what to do. I really love this man and I don't think I want to leave him. I'm not so sure how much he loves me, though I think he does. We are from very different culture, background, & really different personalities. He's very moody and can be absolutely adorable at one moment and really freightening the next, even though he might not mean it. That makes me feeling more and more troubled and unsecured. And a lot of times I don't think he's considering about me so much. He has gone through a very painful divorce & his 2 daughters are living with the mother. He talks a lot about his ex-wife and his daughters. I'm more disturbed at the moment as his daughters are visiting him and I can see how much love he has for them. He's still very nice to me and I really like the two children, but I can't stop feeling that I'm putting myself in a world that I don't belong to. I'm not sure whether I can feel better in the future. I'm becoming really doubtful but I still can't decide what's the best thing to do.
