Together 11 years. We both did things we're not proud of. We were at an impasse - so I ended it (nicely). Now, 6 months later - he is seeing somebody - but I think it is more for comfort. I told him I love him more than anyone in the world. He admitted he missed me & thought about me too, but he is burned & has a wall up. How do I break down that wall gently?

Would any of the ladies on here mind sending me pictures of your feet, either bare or in socks or stockings? I can't get enough of looking at pretty girls' feet. You can email them to me at loser_hubby2005@yahoo.com

Thank you so much.

I have a dear friend who is a wonderful human being, but who has no respect for himself and who has given up on ever finding a life partner, or even a date. I am a female in my early 40s and I'm probably the only woman he talks to. He's in his late 20s and has never had a girlfriend. No, I do not want to date him. He's too young.

To meet him, he is not attractive at all, but once you get to know him he is a beautiful person. He's funny, smart, interesting, and has a good heart, but he's short, heavy, and does not have attractive facial features. It has taken me some time to get to know him because he is somewhat reserved with people, and at times can be abrupt or cranky, but that is a function of his lack of social interaction and not an innate character flaw. Once I got past the bluster and the defense mechanisms, I saw a great person under there.

How do you help someone like that recognize his worth, start treating himself better, and stop assuming he'll always be alone?

My daughter who is almost 24 is moving back home temporarily as she is divorcing her husband. They have been married only 11 months. This is extremely embarrassing for my husband and myself as we hosted a very nice wedding for them.

I am not sure what they should do about the gifts. Obvously the money has been spent and the proverbial toaster has been used at this point. Not only that, I am not certain she could even remember who gave her what gift.

What would the proper etiquette be under these circumstances?

When I moved to Nashville, little crime flooded the papers. 15 years later, more and more youth are headlining our newspapers and tv news persuant to crime. I would like serious responses to 1) what you feel about the increase of crime in "your" city, 2)how the youth are involved and 3) what "you", your community and/or leaders are trying to do to change the situation? School is going to be in session in another week. I am preparing myself not only to 'teach' the academics that are required, but I HAVE to find ways to get to the heart of our kids -to understand what makes them do what they do? To try and involve parents more in their own children's lives: academics, etc. When it comes to sports -I see ALL the parents - but I cannot get these same people to come and meet with me when their children are acting out, not going their work, and making life "hard on the yard" for everybody else (bullying). Rather than complain, I am willing to do what I can to change things
