Depends on what you plan on doing.
Are you referring to the whole wedding from the processional to the recessional, or just the actual ceremony?
Are you using the unity candle? What about communion? Any special music or readings? Is the Officiant giving a short address or does he/she plan on giving a sermon? Make sure you find out!
Usually 20-25/30 minutes. I've seen some gorgeous weddings over in about fifteen. And I've had them go as long as 45-60 minutes.
Remember that too much leaves your onlookers dazed. And, too, when standing nervous at the altar, 5 minutes can seem an awfully long time. If you have children participate, it'd be wise to have them sit as they will soon begin to fidget. And if the facility doesn't have air or it's outside, wedding attire can make one QUITE warm.
Good luck with your planning!

We had a standard christian wedding we had one song during the unity candle. Our Ceremony took 23 minutes. We started at 2:00 and he announced us at 2:23 and this included the bridal party walking us down because we started right at 2:00.
Our reception lasted until 6:00. We got there about 4:00 this included a buffet with 250 people. We didn't want to rush to get out of there and we wanted to talk to everybody but boy where we tired when we left the reception. It is one long day. But it was worth the planning.

It depends, for a Catholic wedding with mass it can be as long as 2 hours, because they do the ceremony and comunion and the whole shebang. If it is catholic but whithout mass it can be anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how inspired the priest is that day. I have only been to one protestant wedding at a methodist church and it was about 30- 45 minutes.

It depends on what denomination in Christianity. Catholic marriage masses (I've been told) can last for 2 hours because everyone takes communion. In an Anglican ceremony, it depends on who (if anyone) is taking communion but can range anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours. In a Baptist ceremony, 20-30 minutes is the norm because it traditionally doesn't include communion.
Keep in mind that for those that do include communion where everyone receives it, the number of guests dictates how long it lasts.

My husband and I were married in a Lutheran Church, but the minister preformed a Baptist ceremony. The actual wedding only lasted about 15 minutes. The pictures took longer than the wedding did.

Most of the ones I've been to average out to about a half hour. It can pretty much be any length you want it to be, although Catholic weddings that include a full mass tend to feel very, very long (especially if you're not Catholic)

It depends on the denomination.
A protestant ceremony will last from 15-30 minutes. Some go on longer, but on average it's only 30 minutes.
A Catholic ceremony will last about 60-90 minutes. It's long, and depending on what traditions they use, you may be asked to kneel.

usually approximately 1 hr. This would depend on which christian faith. Catholic wedding ceremonies are usually performed as a mass and take 45-60 mins.

The wedding is about 2 hours, but the actual marriage seems painfully eternal.
