I would say 9 out of 10 guys don't do sentimental and in fact won't even expect a gift for that kind of anniversary. Something small like a movie he likes, but won't buy for himself or take him to a restaurant that he likes.
Oral sex never hurts either.

Think back, what did you get him for your 23 & 1/2 days anniversary? Something that matches with that would be purrrfect.
6 months is NOT an anniversary. Neither is 2 months, 3 months, or 11 months for that matter. Men don't count this crap as valid and if you think he is sitting at home squeezing out his brains because he wants to get you the perfect gift you are wrong. You're WRONG! Give the guy a hand job in the movie theater and he'll be happy. I promise. You better stop with this psuedo-anniversary crap before you smother the guy and he runs away screaming into the arms of your best friend.

I wouldn't make a big deal of it, most guys don't think anything of it.
Fix him a nice dinner and say happy anniversary and forget it. Don't be upset if doesn't get you anything or make a big deal over it!

It depends, how much money you gonna spend, if you have limited budget then look for something practical but if u have money to burn then why not give him something he loves most ( electric guitar, ipod, etc.) Sixmonthsary is still the stage of getting to know each other, so give him something round, white, soft, nice to lick,delectable.... well a box of MARSHMALLOWS would do the trick.

make everything simple but memorable. do something that he won't forget. why don't you try making something for him. instead of just buying. it's more memorable if you really worked hard for it.
