I think its just going to take time until you feel more comfortable around him.. you may think your relaxed, but your probably at a stage in the relationship where you want everything to be perfect and by thinking too much about what your going to say.. that happens to me all the time where I will say the stupidist things because I am pre thinking what I am going to say.. just let the conversation flow and things should come out properly.. also you should metion this to your boyfriend.. soo he understands and maybe he can help you out..

Good luck

Everytime you feel you're going to say something "stupid" take a second to BREATHE and consider what exactly it is you're saying and how it relates to your conversation.

I had this problem too, but taking a second to breathe and think it through for a moment really helped!!

Good Luck!!

That means whenever you are with your boyfriend you get very nervous.Just take a chill-pill pal and everything will be perfect.Just you need is little confidence of yourself.Just think you are the best.

It takes time . In the mean time . Carry a snack ( or drink ) with you and before you go to say something , take a big bite ( or drink )! That way you have time to think about what you are going to say .

The key is called the "I" statement. It will get the point across to him without alienating him.

"When you say ____. I feel embarassed." You aren't accusing him of anything you are just telling him how YOU feel which hopefully he will care about.

Just remember: he's probably just as nervous as you are. Just relax and remember...everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time!
