I am engaged to a man that had a very strict upbringing. I came from a divorced family setting and he didn't. My mom was never very strict with my sibling and I, so I in return am not very strict with my children. They are by no means horrible children, they just act like normal 11 year olds. But every thing has to be perfect and his way. I seriously want to be with this man but am afraid that it won't work because my children and him can not get along. The only time they ever get alone is when I am not home. We have tried numerous things and nothing seems to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

About a three months ago, I asked this guy out, that I really like, to a wedding of friend of mine. He told me then that he would look into it and see if his family reunion was at the same time and he would let me know. I was honestly surprised that he didn't say no. So I waited until I received the invite to remind him to see if he would be free. He said he would check and get back with me. That was three weeks ago. I reminded him last week, he said the same thing. He said he's let me know tomorrow. Well that has past. I asked him again yesterday, and he said he hasn't had the time to check, that he has more important things to do than think about some stupid f***ing wedding! If he doesn't want to go why doesn't he just say no. If he had said no three weeks ago, my feelings wouldn't have been hurt. But after his response yesterday, my feelings are hurt and I feel humilated. Why do some men have to be this way? Wtf, is his problem? If only I had a crystal ball to find out.

so i met this guy two 1/2 weeks ago at my church,we talked a little and my friend told him i kinda liked him from what i knew the last day he asked her for my number, weve exchanged emails and talked every day since we met for at least 40 min or more, one day he asked me to a movie and another afternoon he also wanted me to go rock climbing, does this mean he might like me? or is he another guy who just wants to be one of my good friends?!

should i give him a chance... My dad left me and my mother when i was 2 months and now he wants to be thier. He favors my step brother over me all the time. My dads whole family likes me the least. When i ask my dad for money for school he gives me $40.00 he gave my brother 200 and sent him to a private school. I go to a public school . My daughter side still defends him when it comes to my mother. But slowly i realize i hate him. Should i give him a second chance or just tell him i don't want to see him any more?

My boyfriend & I were talking about how we want to get married, & about having an outside wedding. When he casually mentioned this to his parents, his mom said 'well I wouldn't go'. Reason being they are very catholic & traditional. Shortly after this my boyfriend decided that he wanted our wedding to be recognized by the catholic church, in which apparently you have to get married inside a church or else get special permission. I dont want to get married in a church, I am not religious at all, I dont believe in god. I was fine with incorporating catholic aspects into the ceremony but I am not comfortable with it being completely catholic because that is not who I am. To top things off when he talked about it with his parents another time when he was inquiring as to whether you are allowed to be married outside of a church, his mom said to him 'dont worry we'll make it so that [i'm]comfortable' having it in a church.I really dont think its her place to say that, what do you guys think?

This guy I've known for about 7 months. He's flirted with me before winked after a conversation a couple of times. Seems to always ask me questions that he could ask someone else, something that I don't even know. Looks into my eyes and down at my lips a couple of times. Lets face it, if she goes steady with you, it means she can't get another guy, so you'e elected! You didtate the rules! She carries your backpack for you. If you can't make a class (that you both are in), she takes notes for you. If need be, she lies for you and once in awhile she takes the blame for you to please her guy. I have a chance to go steady with this one girl. She should be grateful that I allow her in my presence!

ATTENTION PLS!! I've been having a roller coaster type of relationship with my ex girlfriend. She has a bad temper. For ex, when she gets mad she bickers for hours and puts on a mean face for a few more hours after she is done arguing. Last night was the last straw. After hanging out and having a good time with her at the beach we had discussion about something and it unfortuneatly turned into an argument. I was driving while this happend. As the car was moving she threatend to jump out of the car. The door swung open in the middle of traffic. I pulled over and told her to get out. She refused. I flagged down a cop and told him what happend. She finally left my car. She just came over and said that she's willing to take my advice and take some anger management classes in order not to lose me. Should I give her a chance? Is she guilty of making empty promises or does she want to change?
