so i met this guy two 1/2 weeks ago at my church,we talked a little and my friend told him i kinda liked him from what i knew the last day he asked her for my number, weve exchanged emails and talked every day since we met for at least 40 min or more, one day he asked me to a movie and another afternoon he also wanted me to go rock climbing, does this mean he might like me? or is he another guy who just wants to be one of my good friends?!

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

It sound's to me like he is into you alot if you ask me. and there should be no need to rush thing's so what if he just want's to start as friends then you'll know for sure that he is the right one for you. but make sure to talk ever heard that old saying communication is the key, well it is TAlk to him ask him what his thoughts are on dating or relationships or eve commitment work it into small talk if you are afraid of rejections as one qusetion change the subject if he seems not ready to talk about it.
but keep in mind there is no rush.
