This guy I've known for about 7 months. He's flirted with me before winked after a conversation a couple of times. Seems to always ask me questions that he could ask someone else, something that I don't even know. Looks into my eyes and down at my lips a couple of times. But then will go through periods where he will totally ignore me. Not even look my way. Does he like me, or does he maybe just think I'm kind of cute. Since he doesn't always look at me.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

Are you flirting back? Also, are you showing him signs that you may be interested in him? If so, then it sounds like the guy doesn't know what he wants. It sounds like one day, he thinks he might be interested in you, and then he has periods where he might like other women, or have other interests, etc. I know as a guy that if I was truly interested in a girl, I would not be going through periods of time where I ignored the girl that I liked.

Sounds like he's flirty....be flirty too. It's fun....and don't get all hooked on him in your head....that's the mistake we ladies make - a guy can't show one sign of interest and we're already imagining the rest of our lives with him....just enjoy the moment and always be slightly out of reach.....if he's interested, it'll drive him crazy and he'll make more effort...if he's not really interested, you'll know.

When guys do that to me, I do the same back. I show them that I can go without them, and that I have my own life. I hang out with guys, I fool around with other guys, and I hang out with my friends like I don't even care. Then I'M the one in charge.

O! He is stringing you along he is missing with your head he has someone and he is going to say what ever he can to keep you attion and when he feels like he doesnt have you anymore then he will start talking to you again its just a game that he is playing to see if he can have you are not.

i think he likes you, but is too afraid to be rejected. actually, he's probably frustrated by know that he can't gather up the courage to ask you out. suggest going out together alone and see how he acts around you then.
