Well...it depends. Would you rather change for those people or be yourself and have them complain? In my opinion, acting like a 15 year old is part of who you are and if people shouldn't try to change you. If you listen to them and "act 20" then you wont be as satisfied with yourself. Plus, every adult is a kid at heart even if they don't admit it. Remember, this is only a suggestion. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide. Good Luck! =]

well..why does everyone tell you to grow up? Being immature at times isn't wrong, it just depends on how you act in situations that require you to be your age. Example: At work, you need to act responsible. You need to think about your future and where you're headed in life. Do you have a job? are you studying? What are your priorities in life? Ask yourself these questions and maybe this well help.Ask these people why they think you're acting too immature for your age. If its a problem of taking hold of your life and making your own decisions its something you have to do on your own

I feel exactly the same i'm 18 and felt my childhood slipping away from me soon i'll be old! I act quite immature but i've found that as long as you're not too annoying i find people can like the youthful dynamic you can bring to a group. Anyway why must people's behaviour be catagorised into age groups why can't you just be yourself? As long as your happy and you're not hurting anyone.

I'm a person that doesn't act my age. When people ask me why I don't act my age I tell them I've never been this age before I don't know how to act it. I think some people are jealous that I can still have fun instead of rusting away silently. You act how you feel as long as no one gets hurt.

Be yourself at whatever age you are, when you are young you wish to be old and when you get older you wish to be young, its a fact of life.
The one piece of advice worth anything is not to think about your age at all but enjoy what you've got whilst you still can and anyone that tells you to grow up haven't grown up themselves.

I'm middle aged and feel the same way. It's much less of a disadvantage when you're older.
