I recently got married (July 8, 2006) and everything went great, except for one small thing. Before the wedding and before invitations were sent out, we were told by a couple who we had planned to invite that they were not going to be able to make it to the wedding. We understood their situation and didn't send them an invitation, well now they're furious with my husband and me for not sending them one. We were so pressed for extra space and we were running out of invitations since the guest list reached over 250. Was it wrong to not send them one even though they made it clear they would not be attending because they would be out of town?

My usual clothing is tshirt and pants.. or sweater. I would wear tuxedo's or something for special occasions, if i had to go to one, and nice clothing for shirt.. but it's not fashionable.. I look so simple cause i'm like this. But in university, highschool, etc.. all my experiences have been that girls go for guys who "Dress well". So does it mean i've never had a girlfriend because i never dress Fashionable? wel i'm also shy and quiet.. but still, i never feel like girls go WOW when they seem me.. and i always go WOW just by looking at almost any girl in the street.

My mom (now age 86) was diagnosed with Alzheimers four years ago. My mother and I were always very close, and this diagnosis has been devastating.

Her diagnosis came three weeks after a horrible downsizing and things have been very difficult for me since. I now earn less than 50% of my former salary and have health problems, although I call my mom (who now lives in a nursing home) several times a week.

For anyone who has a friend or loved one with Alzheimer's, you know what I mean when I say the disease just seems to take your loved one and just hollows them out. That spark in their eye, their vitality, it's just gone.

Even though my mom is still alive, I feel like she's already gone. I miss her incredible cooking, how she'd always listen to me and remind me that things would be ok. My mom was a good, honest person all her life. She never hurt a soul. Seeing what the Alzheimer's is doing to her has truly shown me what a broken heart feels like.

A Q to anyone who cheats on their spouse. Why? Why not just end it with the person you are with so you can flirt and do other things with the other girls/guys you are hunting so bad? Has anyoneone ever cheated once by then never did again? Why do people cheat, is it becuase they are no longer happy with who they are with? Thanks

Why have i been single for nine years? Everyone that i have known has had at least one or two gf's in that period of time, and that really bugs the hell out of me. I'm not shy when I get to talking with a girl. However, I never know what to say to break the ice or begin the conversation with a girl that I've never met before. I see many pretty girls out at the ski hill, the bar or at school. I don't want to use a cheezy pick up line, I want to be respectfull and just talk with her to get to know her. I don't even know if I like her yet. At this point she's just a pretty girl and Im not ready to do some big "Top Gun" style approach. What should I say??
