The last date we had he said he wanted to get to know me more and thought it would be fun to get an apartment together. I called him about our date today and he had forgotten about it. Does he care about me? Or should I move on?

I think you should definitely move on and I would say that if you have to ask if he cares about you then you probably shouldn't date him. He obviously isn't being responsible about his decisions with you because he said that he doesn't know you very well but wants to get an apartment with you. A real man should want to protect you and part of protecting someone is being responsible. Also if you get an apartment together then he is forcing you to change the situation you are currently living in and asking you depend on him to be a good roommate, to pay his rent, and to help out with the chores. Do you think someone that can't remember a date will be responsible enough to do all of that?

Just ignore the close minded people on here...anywho, on to your question. If he can forget a date, then it's probable that he'll conveniently forget much more...such as you two being boyfriends. If he truly cared about you, he'd be jumping at your heels, excited to go back on a date with you. He wouldn't have forgotten about it. However, some people are just naturally like that, so here's what I'd do. If you both go on the date, keep an eye on him, note how he acts towards you, if it seems like he cares, etc. If it seems like the guy doesn't care, or if he forgets again, then tell him you'd rather just stay friends. Move on and don't listen to these bible humpers. Date men, date women, date whoever you want. Just date someone that actually cares about you.. and if someone wants to move in together that soon? SCARY. Run for the hills. Find yourself a nicer guy.

I think I disconnected from you when you said "I thought it would be fun..." how is moving in together "fun"? It's a living arrangement that takes committment, not "fun".

If he has already forgotten what he said to you, he must not have meant it and he probably only wanted one thing. Move on! He doesn't care about you.

i think you should move on and find a guy who is thoughtful and actually remembers stuff. i dont think he really cares.. sorry. and as far as the apartment thing that just means he thinks it would be fun or maybe it was a joke. it doesnt nescessarily mean he really likes you.

It depends, it needs more information like I need a good bit of stuff about you and this guys past. For this point it doesnt seem much like he cares, but that just that I need more information.
