did the bible specifically speak against polygamy as a despicable act which God disapproves?apart from Pauls opinion against polygamy is there any other text in the bible which speaks against polygamy?

I have 3 kids and don't have much time to do new things. It seems like mostly everyone in my town has family nearby with whom they spends holidays, etc. How, other than church, can I meet people and get close to them so that me and my kids have a sense of family?

First of all, I'm 21 and we've been together for 4 years now. My mom is going to Florida on vacation to visit my brother, his wife and their kid. (We live in NC) She invited me to go too. She's gonna be down there for 9 to 11 days and they're all gonna go to visit some monuments and beaches and maybe Disney World or a theme park. There are 2 problems though. My mom and I are so different that we don't get along too good so I'm not sure if I can put up with her for that long lol. And also, my boyfriend won't be able to go because he'll be working and just plan doesn't want to go. Sure I'll miss him, but I don't know when I'll get the chance to go to FL again (I've never been). He gets kinda jealous sometimes though and I'm not sure how he'd feel if I went to FL without him for a week. And if he's gonna be pissy about it, I'd just rather not go. Do you think I should suck up the problems with me and my mom and also my boyfriend, and just go? Or forget about it and stay?

all my friends seem to be jelouse of me.
they are always competing against me, it is really annoying.
why cant they just lead their own lifes and stop coping me in eveything i do, including school work. i do try and talk to then about it, but they just deny everything.

No one wants wrinkles, old age, diminishing physical performance sexually, athletically(sports), muscle mass, broken down body from aging, etc. The horrors of life and the cruelty of nature that comes along with the life right before the lord takes you away from Earth. Do you fight back to keep what you got and to stay on top of your game or do you let yourself ride into the sunset with pride and let you life fade away because you know it's going to happen eventually anyway and you can't fight it forever. How do you look at this? No more competition with the ladies and with the guys because you're losing what you once had. Your whole youth fading away and gone!

My husband and i are haveing some problems, last week he went out and done something every night, or he has his buddys over playing poker. Monday - went fishing, Tues went golfing, Wend. had buddys over, and then went to sain a water hole after 9:00p.m. Thurs. went golfing, Friday- had buddys over till 3:30 in the morning, and failed to go to work on Sat. morning. Sat he actually did not do anything, then sunday he went golfing again. Last night he told me that i was his problem that i would not let him go and do anything. When he goes out i usually tell him to be home at a cetain time, witch he never come home when i ask, he says that the reason that he dont is because he knows that i am gong to be mad anyway so why come home when i ask, Keep in mind that we have a 4 yr and a 23month old. What do i do????? I told him last night that we could just have 2 seperate lives just live in the same house, HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend who is a lesbien, (not attractive to me or vis versa) asked me if I would follow her down to Illinois to drop of her truck because she is quiting her job. Its like a 16 hour drive round trip so I'll be back tomorrow sometime. My BF is all upset about it, and ever more so because I am not upset, yeah ill miss him but its only 16 hours, not a week. My day has gotten off to a terrible start. A relationship has ended and I am in tears. I knew it had to end sometime and it reallydoesn' surprise me, but to hear it is a different story. I have to go to work soon and I can't stop crying. Monday is a very stressful day at work and we are understaffed so I can't call in and I will have no assistance at work. I will have to deal with a lot of customers. I can't just shut my feelings off and Ihave no friends or family to talk to about this. How can I keep from crying the 8 hours I am at work.?
