all i have to say is if you think that you have to buy him something to tell him that you love him, you need a brain check. if he has a problem with you not buying him anything than you should get rid of him. unless you are engaged or something you dont need to waist your money on some one you are not sure you will stay with forever. i mean you can spend a little on him but dont blow your bank account. im pretty sure he wouldnt want that.
what you have done so far should be good enough. as a suggestion maybe you should invite him over and cook dinner for him. guys love it when their girls cook for them.
p.s i am glad you dont want to do anything sexual. anything like that will not help you out in the long run.

I was thinking more along the lines of maybe getting something like a picnic together if you have enough for the ingredients just simple things is all you need you know....just make sure you let him know off top you only wanted to do something simple to let him know he's still got what you want :-) They like that!!!

Something I did for my hubby was make him a collage of pictures from his childhood. I called his mom and got her to send me some pics (telling her why) and it turned out great! He loved it and we hung it up in his office. He was touched by me working on something that was so special to him. I asked his mom to get me as many familiy members as possible and it was really fun as he told me about the stories from each picture.

Go to the movies and buy a big bucket of popcorn and your tickets. Then sit back and enjoy the movie. It's a great bonding time, and how much or how little you two do is up to you.

You talk to him gently and emotionally how important he is in your life. You have not mentioned in your question whether you are married to him or not. If you have married him, explain him the values of marital bond and the intricacies of family life. Certainly he would listen to you and get attracted to your noble appealings if he has no other ideas of deception.

Hello suzukigirl06,
Yeah, drumrchick has the right idea. Cooking his favorite food is really the best non-sexual thing that you can do for him that he will really appreciate.

Find out what his favorite sport is and watch a game with him without asking any annoying questions. Just cheer when he does.
