my husband kids inder age are stuck in lebanon they can get back unless somone canadian travel with them should i go get them i got to go to syria then to lebanon if not what if something happend to them am i gonna blame myselfe all my life what should i do helppp

If you are Canadian, I think you should discuss this with your foreign ministry officials or call the embassy in Syria or Lebanon if they have one there for advice.

You are in a very difficult and sorry situation but it is best to do some groundwork first. The British government just evacuated lots of British citizens and if Canada is thinking of something like that then the government and armed forces should be able to help.

The current situation is so bad you need lots of money to 'pay' your way around and to guarantee your own security. It is noble of you to help but do some quick research before delving into it lest you add yourself to the list of casualties.

There are still safe routes, if they are not stuck in the South. People are still leaving through Syria. I speak to people in Lebanon on an almost daily basis. I think it might get worse so I would definitely want them out. Go to Lebanon, even though it is very expensive, and the roads from Syria in and out are risky, but avoid the Southern Suburbs of Beirut, and anything South of even Beirut. That would be suicidal. If they are stuck there, you won't help them by going to get them from there. Even ambulances get bombarded. Let them make it to a relatively safer area (as of now!) in Lebanon and then all of you can leave from there.

You do not need to do anymore talking, just go and get them. There were people on the news "talking" to their embassy for days. That is not a good place for anyone now. It is really turning into a humanitarian disaster. They are breathing in all that toxic air from the relentless Israeli bombs. That is just a terrible situation.
