i just don't know the difference. when you aren't married but in a serious relationship why bother getting married when both have the same thing. commitment, living together, sharing, etc.....
i know marriage you have to get a licence.
so what's the difference between marriage and a non married couple but as serous as the married one?

My children reside with my ex-husband, but my son has recently gained majority as he turned 18 in March and graduated H.S. He had an MRI on his knee and my ex has withheld my equity payment as 1/2 of the insuance deducable. I was not given the opportunity to agree or disaree, he just did it. Can he do this? Am I still responsible for 1/2 of the deductible on my ex's insurance?

My best friend killed himself and I am really depressed now. Another friend offered me some crack saying it really helped him get over it. My girlfriend of 3 years just decited to go on a break. I recently found out that she left for another guy. She has done this in the past also but i always take her back. So my question is why does she do this? She leaves for any guy who shows her attention. But then always comes crying back saying she cant live without me. I give her all the attention in the world. She calls 20 times a day and if we dont hang out every night she's mad. Also she tells these new dudes "I love you" within the first couple of weeks. I am just really frustrated and need someones advice. Also we work at the same place and i do my best to be civil to her and say hi and she just brushes me off like i dont exist. I dont understand how she can all of the suddon not care about me. I thought when girls turned 21 they left the highschool crap behind?

I've been talking to a young lady(31)about a month now,and i finally told her that i am still married,but seperated.The conversation got a tense at first,because she kept saying that i should have told her when she mentioned to me in the beginning that she had recently been hurt by her x who she found out was married and going back to his wife when they wasn't together.But now she knows and i feel a little better,but i don't know how i would go by about asking her to be my lady.She still calls me and we still talk about going out on dates and doing certain things together.I know i have to get a divorce to make things right for us to be together.But ladies,what do to think would be her reaction to me asking her to be my lady friend?Do you think this will break up the friendship that we have now?
