i am 14, and i really care about my gf. i'm always on the phone with her, and it's free (cingular to cingular), but my mom always bitches about it... wat should i tell her, how can i explain???

14 and gf and chit-chat, u r on the wrong track dude !! remember: behind every unsuccessful man, there is woman.
after couple of years say if she leaves u, she could find someone else but u who is in luv with her so deeply will probably ruin ur life. so take care!!! this is not the right age to have a gf, u r still too young to take such big decisions about ur life. if u have doubts, just see what sought of questions are coming under this category either from bf or a gf. i hope u understand or else its ur life, mess with it as much as u can, who cares afterall u will be the only one bearing the results. bi

If your mother is aware the call is free, then I'd say the real problem is that she fears that you will either neglect your studies (education determines your future) or possibly become a father before you are ready (financially, emotionally or in your life's timing). If you can show her your grades aren't suffering, and both of you sign an abstinence contract and show it to her (and MEAN it), then I think maybe she'll give you some slack. tell her, there's nothing wrong with you and the girl, being platonic friends. That you enjoy talking to each other on the phone, and on the bus. Ask her why it bothers her. If her concern is that the friendship will get to be more serious, she's either being paranoid or predicting the future- perhaps 12 years from now.

Your Mom is probably just concerned that the two of you are getting too serious at such a young age. Tell her that you and your g/f just really enjoy each others company and enjoy chatting about nothing and everything and that you're not getting really serious. Maybe this will allay her fears.

True. It is free. And what is the deal? Is your mom strict. Maybe it's just that your mom well, most parents say we are too young and if we have sex it will bring shame to the family. But have you ever sat down and try talking to your mom? One day she will understand how this girl means so much to you and she will appreciate it. But good luck!

It's probably all you do. Spend every waking moment on the phone. You should be doing a lot of other things at 14 my friend.

Tell everyone you're going to bed, and go to your room at 9PMish, then call her and talk all through the night. That's what I do, and sometimes we end up falling asleep on the phone together, and it's so sweet. I love listening to him breathe.

i dont think that you should tell her anything. mother knows best!! lol. i would agree that you should not spend every waking moment yakking on the phone, when your room could use a good cleaning or the chores need to get done.

tell her you're a grown man, and you should have the responsibility to take care of your girlfriend, even if it includes calling her on a phone. or you could do it secretly in outside, or just do it on the computer.
