Dictionary definition of kinky: showing or appealing to bizarre or deviant tastes, especially of a sexual or erotic nature.
Kinky is usually considered to be something along the lines of BDSM, sex toys, leather, various weapons (ex. whips, chains), etc. (if you're not sure what BDSM is, look it up on acronymfinder.com) It might also include various types of clothing, depending on one's personal tastes (ex. gloves, collars).
I'm pretty sure everyone has their own definition of what's "kinky," so everyone's going to have different answers.

I think eveyone has a different idea of what kinky really is. So it really is between the two of you. If one of your is uncomfortable with something, then the other should respect that. If you don't think it's totally and completley out there, maybe you could try it and see if you like it (whatever he likes) but if after that you don't like it, then it should be dropped.

to me..kinky is when you see *something* done is say print or movie, then you think...hhhmmmm...that looks like fun, but then your other side says , heck no we dont do THAT.....and then you think..but I know he would really like it if I did that....and you argue with yourself...then do it anyway and find out how much you love it.
That to me, is kinky.

This is not a forum question. Frankly and openly discuss what you and your spouse are comfortable with and feels good. The most powerful sex organ is between the ears. (your mind) my view or anyone else's for that matter is irrelevant
