My children reside with my ex-husband, but my son has recently gained majority as he turned 18 in March and graduated H.S. He had an MRI on his knee and my ex has withheld my equity payment as 1/2 of the insuance deducable. I was not given the opportunity to agree or disaree, he just did it. Can he do this? Am I still responsible for 1/2 of the deductible on my ex's insurance?

Check the divorce decree. I'm sure it will say in there. Usually after 18, you don't have to deal with any of that. But, on the other hand...this is your son.... However, in any case, your ex didn't have the right to withhold the money without getting your approval...I'd fight about that one.

I'd say let this one go...he's your son after all. But get yourself un-listed from your ex's insurance and just get your own.
