Why do women have such low standards when it comes to boyfriends?

I know so many women out there who have been going out with their boyfriends for 6-7 years, without any prospect of marriage. Since when is this acceptable?! Do women have any dignity anymore?

good point. i mean when a person says they are not ready then you cannot force them. that is ususally what happens. and we wait and by the time you realize it years have gone by and there is no marriage
