My boyfriend and i have been seeing each other for like 2 months, but he's not paying enough attention to me and i'm not sure what to do. maybe i should just break up with him, or i don't know what to do. i feel bad because he works a lot and it seems like he never wants to spend time with me. I don't want to be selfish, but i don't want to be used either.

I just bought a house and I'm having money problims. Now the man I'm seeing wants me to take in his dead beat brother. They are talking that he would give me somewhere about $50 to $75 a month to live here to cover his food.

I don't want to do this because it would put me farther in the hole money wise, and when I asked him if he would help me with the yard work he said he has a bad back. ( NOT)

All of this happeneing makes me feel like breacking up with my boyfriend. I been dating him for 13 yrs. I don't live with him and he doesn't ever help me.

I find myself in this situation too often, and I never know how to deal with it. When I get a new job, go to a party, join an organization, etc., I have a lot of trouble making friends with the people there. How do you make friends as the "new person" with everyone else, who already know each other? It's especially hard because of all of their inside jokes and gossip...

Have you ever really hurt yourself and had a horrible wound/bruise (from being clumsy and falling into something, falling down a flight of stairs, "rough-housing" with your spouse/gf/gf/whatever) and gone to work (or a friends house) and your co-workers (friends) are convinced that your spouse (or whatever) is abusive?

I'm wondering because this happened to me a few years ago. we lived in a basement apartment and I had been drinking and almost fell down 15 stairs but caught my shoulder on the hand rall...probably saved my life, but I had a bruise that was the size of a grapefruit (and lasted for months). My boss was convinced that my husband was hitting me. It was really funny...she even tried talking me into going to a battered women's home.

and I don't know what to put this under so sorry if its "miscatergorized"..
