Boys are harder when they are younger because they are more aggressive and will try things that they know will get them in trouble. At least that is true in general. A few boys learn the art of being aggressive and trying new things in ways that won't get them in trouble, but only a few. Young girls, as a general rule, are less aggressive and far more eager to be pleasing. Something seems to happen to girls when they hit puberty. The confident, charming 11 year old becomes suddenly aware that she is a sexual creature and instantly struggles with self-esteem. Teenage boys, on the other hand, explore their sexuality differently. Most boys don't worry too much about their breast size, how fat they look in their pants, or freak out if they are having a bad hair day.
I've got a teenage boy and girl right now. The girl often soaks up all the oxygen in the room with her charming personality plugged into high drama. I love her desperately ... don't know if I could handle more than one of her at a time. Good thing my teenage boy is so simple in his needs. When they were younger, he was the impossible handful and she was the easiest kid you ever saw.
Good book on this topic about girls - Venus in Blue Jeans.

You know it is funny that you are asking this question because I was just thinking of this the other day as we have two boys and a girl. I think in many ways we have figured out, that it doesn't always have to do with their gender but who they are as people, their temperaments, personalities, all of it. For this reason I don't know if it is fair to take a side and say one or the other is easier. I think they're just totally different, which of course, the older you get, we all know!!! Not just physical differences, but in their nature, their nurturing, all of it. They also go through times or phases where one gender is easier than the other, and thank God they take turns doing this! For when we get all three teens testing us at once, it can be a bit overwhelming to say the least. However, it is all a part of them asking for discipline, for guidelines, for support and stability and unconditional love! I know this doesn't directly answer your question but hope it helps........

Boys are easier to raise. The dangers are less so you dont have to be so tensed up and on the look out every breathing moment as is the case for girls. Boys can almost take care of themselves because its inborn. Girls.... no.

I have 3 boys that are now grown up, they are delightful children from they were young up to now that they are adults. Growing up there were challenges, of course, its to be expected as they go through different stages in life. Girls are not as easy or as difficult than boys, I would say both gender are easy to raise and just as hard.

LOL i wager it in simple terms relies upon. My son is 6 and is one of those boy's boy he doesn't want to pay interest and in simple terms needs to run round and not in any respect sit down for homework time. So i imagine it relies upon on the youngster and their personality. My daughter is fullyyt 2 months yet she is really straight forward lol she sleeps by skill of the evening and purely cries even as she desires something. So in my situation my female is a lot less difficult :) nicely atleast so a procedures.

Boys are easier in the younger years, but a son is your son till he takes a wife. A daughter is yours for the rest of her life.

I find it to be boy. I feel emotionally girls are harder to raise. I worry about my little girl more than I do my son. They tend to be more fragile and vulnerable to the ups and down life has to offer.
