After deciding we did not go together as well as we once did, we chose to break it off. It seems mutual, but I am having trouble adjusting.

The problem you are having is your routine has changed . You got used to doing certain things with him/her every day and that makes you think about him/her all the time. It's like trying to break a bad habit. You have to make yourself go out and do new things with new people. You never know, you might have just needed a break from each other and could soon get back together. Good luck and try to be happy buy yourself something nice or take a trip.

You will do for a while but that's natural. Time to move on, so get a dream, go out and meet people, fill your life with new expectations, make new friends, and watch how you get so busy with work and friends, or voluntary work, that when u go home, and you touch the pillow, man....you are gone.

The only adjustment u'll have is fixing the pillow.
