My Mother In Law acts like she is a teenager. She drinks too much, hangs out in bars and acts like a child. She throws a fit when she is not invited on vacations with us or even when I say it wouldn't be a good time to visit (and give her an alternate day). She takes offense that we don't trust many people alone with our kids (especially her boyfriend) and is forever bringing it up and trying to punish us for it. Should I just drop all ties with her? I am trying to be respectful, but I just don't have the drive to anymore.

Womens lib has changed things a lot. What do women want in a relationship now? I know the list is long, but generally, be honest? I know it is not always Mr. Nice Guy.

OK, I'm 25 and was in a relationship with a man for 9 year (4 of them in marriage). We spilt up in February, and I haven't gone on any dates or been with anyone else since.
He has been with 2 girls and has been dating one for a little over 2 months now.
In a receient discussion, I told him I hadn't seen anyone and was quite happy to be alone. His response was "no, you NEED a boyfriend. We've been apart for a while and it's time you moved on with someone else"
I've come to the realisation (after a few other questions were asked) that he feels he MUST be in a relationship to be happy and feel successful.

This begs me to ask the question -
Do you feel you HAVE to be in a relationship to be happy and/or successfull in life?
Do you feel that those who are single are missing out and pity them?

The reception hall doesn't include anything but tables and chairs so I have buy everything else. I would like my bridal party to have regular plates and glasses that are nice and my guests will have paper plates and cups for the buffet. Everyone says that tacky!

Is old a state of mind or age? My husband says we are getting old.
I am still so active and into everything. I love rollercoasters and theme parks and all those kind of things. We are grand parents but I just do not feel "old"

I told my friend about this guy how I thought he liked me. So this one day in study hall my friend asked him one day when you were there. and he kinda smimled and said no. Also, one day he had my volleyball that went over to him and my friend was testing him and she said Andrew could I have that ball back it was mine, he said no. Then, I went up and said Andrew that was my volleyball could I have it back and he said yes and was looking at me for like 4 secs.

my ex cheated on me. AND because i was really really upset, mad, and sad, i did a lot of bad things to him. I threw ALL his stuff away, locked him out from our place, yelled at him, hit him....

we broke up about a week ago and decided to stay as friends. i saw him couple days ago, and he told me that he still loves me and care about me very much. i still love him too. do you think i can ask him to be a bf again?? or is it too late?

i'm gonna see him tomorrow and talk. i'm scared...

All right, which is more important and for which age range? Sex and the simple relationship? Or the whole soul mate ordeal with trysts and complications but with an undefinable connection?
