I'm not sure there is such a thing as a soul mate, but if he
makes you feel good about yourself and you are happy
and content in this relationship, without all the other crap, then I'd say it's pretty close.

My dear, if after you date this guy for a period of time. lets say one year of more... and you still have to ask that question to yourself... he is not your soul mate.
Love is really like religion belief... it is all done on Faith, Feelings, and the Joy of being together. If that is not there then maybe there is no soul mate... and or you don't have your soul mate but only a person to fill the void your are looking for.
If you feel you have your soul mate.. after you search your heart and soul... you will know for sure... without question.
