my ex cheated on me. AND because i was really really upset, mad, and sad, i did a lot of bad things to him. I threw ALL his stuff away, locked him out from our place, yelled at him, hit him....
we broke up about a week ago and decided to stay as friends. i saw him couple days ago, and he told me that he still loves me and care about me very much. i still love him too. do you think i can ask him to be a bf again?? or is it too late?
i'm gonna see him tomorrow and talk. i'm scared...

ONCE THE TRUST IS BROKEN ODDS ARE THE RELATIONSHIP IS DOOMED. What you have to ask yourself is #1. knowing what you know could you ever trust him again or believe anything he says. #2. if you know the person he cheated on you with and you see him with her EVEN IF YOU TOO ARE JUST FRIENDS would you be able to maintain your cool #3. Should you decide to take him back as a bf could you give yourself to him unconditionally or would there always be something in the back of your mind saying he gave himself to someone he did not love over someone that loved him.What you did as far as throwing his stuff away,locking him out of your place,yelled at him and hit him is perfectly understandable and actually he got off lightly,just remember what Lorena Bobbitt did to he husband for being a idiot. In my opinion it's time to move on and find a guy who would never even think about doing what your ex did.

Huh....i really think he want's his stuff back. I'm not sure about the whole scene but i wouldn't if i was you. You should make some kind of deal with him. I'm not sure what, but it should have something to do with him cheating on you over again.

i never cheated on my wife till after i got married. that's when the temptation gets worst. i wouldn't recommend getting back with him. it will probably only happen again and may get worst with time. once a cheater always a cheater is true (found out my self after dipping my toe in that water. kinda wish i never did.). worst off he will know that he might be able to get away with it if he ever gets caught again. you may tell him that if he does it again it's over for good. but you actions will be saying that you can't be without him even if he cheats on you.

Hear what he has to say, but once a guy cheats it's hard to reconnect the strings of trust. I'd just let him go. He obviously didn't care about you and love you when he was cheating on you.

Hmmmm.... very hard, I mean, I don't wan't to be the one who changes someone's life. So I'll just say, listen to your heart! But, personally, I mean, he cheated... that is really bad... I don't think you should get with him again, he would probably take advantage of you. If he does it again if you decide to get with him, I want to see a guy's *** kicked hard :) GOOD LUCK!!!!

I can understand that you still love him but cheating is totally different in this situation... the first time he cheats on you is shame on him but the second time he cheats its shame on you.. If you really love him enough to trust him to not cheat then go for it, if your having doubts then trust your instincts and move on.

cheating is bad, yea. but if a dude can come back saying that he loves you and all that good stuff after you do all that to him, i'd say it's worth a shot. if it happens again though.grab the hedgeclippers..
and take up gardening! it's a great stress reliever!

sometime we take love forgranted and dont really know until the person is gone , if your love is true then of course give him a chance to show you the best side of him, love is crazy never forget that, it makes you do things you normally would never even think about

If the magic is still there then go for it. You did the right thing to him. dont feel guilty. He must be shown there is concequinces to his bad behavior. Keep him on a short leash till he regains your trust.

If you take him back now, you're just showing him that he can get away with what he did. Date other people, and show him that you don't put up with that kind of nonsense. You have to be in control, or he's just going to do it again.
