That's a very complicated question...
First off, what is the ""reason"" she IS withholding sex?
If it's because of hurt feelings, it may take a while for her to come to grips with her emotions. Which will depend on how deep the hurt was, what was the hurt over... etc..
It could be cause of a sexual malfunction on her part, such as "no desire", which could point to a hormonal condition, or medical condition, and she would need to have some blood work done and seek a doctors help in this area.
After pregnancy a woman can go through post-partum depression, which causes a lack of interest in that arena.
There's so many possible factors here, that the question is impossible to answer without knowing more details.

A wife should never use sex as a tool to manipulate her husband, whether giving it or withholding it.
However, a woman cannot usually just get aroused like turning on a faucet, where many men can. If "foreplay" begins when you wake up in the morning (good morning sweetheart), continues through the day (quick call at lunch to say hi), and into the evening, then be prepared for her attention.
If however, you have been too busy, or angry, or just haven't said three words to her all day, then she isn't necessarily withholding sex, she just isn't feeling loved, and most women have to feel loved to be in the mood.
I know many women use sex to get what they want, and this is wrong. The only reason I can see to legitimately withhold sex is if you have been unfaithful to her, or if you are drunk or high.

A wife should never keep sex from her husband. If she does then she should be prepared for the same treatment about something she wants. It may seem as if men are just thinking of sex all the time but if you really analyze the reasons you will find that men bond with women during sex while women bond with men thru snuggling and the afterglow period. If you want a faithful husband don't tempt him to find a different partner who will actually perform.

depends what he did, if you keep it too longhe might go looking for something else. But long enough to show him who really has the pants. You make a schedule but don't tell him, at least once a week/ month depending how young you are. sometimes three four times one week then none for a week or two. make sure he doesn't know. Give it to him when he deserves it, like a treat when training a pet. Good Luck

The only thing I can tell you is, that when you use sex as a "tool", or something you can "keep" from your husband to get what you want........he will resent that until his dying day....or your divorce, whichever comes first. Men hate it when you do that. The better way is to communicate to your husband and work it out....but DO NOT withhold sex, or use it against him.......from personal experience!

I think you need to search within yourself and find out why keeping sex from the husband is a good form of punishment. Maybe you have some soul searching to do.

Uhhh, no more than four hours... I myself got really nasty after my husband withheld from me for fourteen days so I think it's a sin to withhold that thing from your spouse. Why don't you fight it out, make up and have sex? Or just have sex at least you can feel good in your sulking and manipulation then.

First of all why are you keeping it from him. Using sex as a punishment is not a good idea. Unless you would like him to look else where.

WOW! keeping sex from hubby maybe dangerous. This is a proven method that backfires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me! Past experience. I guess what you really have to ask yourself is why? If your using sex to punish the guy... that is the wrong way to do it. There are much better methods of getting to a man then through his penis.
