I've had a very stormy past with my ex, and somewhat abusive. He's been gone nearly 4 yrs now and says he's grown up and changed. I know he can provide for me in most ways, but emotionally i have my doubts. And a best friend I've had for some years who has always been there for me; He's never failed to listen to me or just be there if i needed a hug....and recently I found out he's interested in me. Problem is, there is an attraction there for us both. I'm afraid if I give this a chance, it'll destroy the deep friendship we've worked to keep. He has some physical limitations.........but he's still an attraction to me. I don't know wether to give my ex a chance in 6 months, or try and see how this other works out...I don't want to hurt either of them; but my heart is all torn up. Please, if there is a good answer out there, the help would be deeply appreciated.

My boyfriend and I are seeing each other for like 2 years plus. We meet each other almost everyday after work about 6pm till late 10pm... He is the one that initiate the relationship we have...we are both each other first love and started this relationship when we are both 20 years old.

Recently, we keep on having conflicts. He can't tolerant when i tell him very nicely what I feel that he is wrong especially when i asked him for help and he would keep on delaying.... say tired and stuff like that :( I feel that he displays lesser care & concern than we were before. Also, he had displays quick or short temper recently. I know guys mature slower but i think he is going towards the "bad" side. All the bad characters....

I love him and we both goin to engage soon next year or so. Please advise me how to deal with him for his shortcomings? Plus, he is working as an Army Officer so does this make him this way? Thanks :P

Me and my gf got together back in march and went out for a month but she was to busy with basketball for us ever to actually get together. So we broke up but then we started goign back out about a week ago and everything went good we watched a movie together and it seemed like we were alot closer. But then the next week she never called, she was barely ever home and she said she was getting to busy again and i asked her if she thinks we could still last and she said i dont think so so i told her we need a breka then. Is that what i should have doen or should we still try to make it work or should we just be done all together?

I just sent out a message about my boyfriend, whom I line has just became violent with me on a drunken night. I had a boyfriend for 4 years who beat me. I know the pattern, I know I deserve better, but why do I want to stay anyway? We're starting counceling on the 18th, and he is no longer going to drink, because if he does I told him I will not be near him or home that night. Should I try one more time, or get the hell out?

When I see my parents (mom and step-dad) and I talk to them about my husband and I wanting a baby soon, she tells me the following:

That I won’t want to get up in the middle of the night with a baby.
That she knows when I have a baby I will wish I didn’t have one at 24 years old.
She rolls her eyes and says I should wait until I am 35 to have a child and maybe by then I won’t want one anymore.
She is afraid if I have children I might get frustrated with them and make their lives miserable.

She seems jealous of me. She had two children before she was 21 and got divorced at 24.

I have a college degree, I have been with my husband for 5 years, married for over a year, I have a good job, insurance, own a home that is almost paid off, and I have two brand new cars paid off. My husband and I love each other and want to start a family, why can’t she be happy for me and stop trying to ruin my dream of having a baby??!!

My Husband cheated on me for about 3 years. We have stayed together 4 the sake of the children and are good friends. I have no idea who this other woman is all I know is her mobile number. I think about her every day and don't think I will ever get it out of my mind. Anyone in the same situation and has anyone had this happen to them and got over it?

It seems like every middle age man has a motorcycle but yet I don't really see that many as compared to cars. I hate motorcycles and am no more interested in your motorcycle than you are in what brand of makeup I buy or how big my shoe collection is. Are there any sophisticated men around?

TO IMPRESS A WOMAN:

Wine her.
Dine her.
Call her.
Hold her.
Surprise her.
Compliment her.
Smile at her.
Listen to her.
Laugh with her.
Cry with her.
Romance her.
Encourage her.
Believe in her.
Pray with her.
Pray for her.
Cuddle with her.
Buy her flowers.
Hold her hand.
Write love letters to her.
Go to the ends of the earth and back again for her.

TO IMPRESS A MAN:

Show up naked . . . bring chicken wings. Don't block the TV.

I have a bestfriedn who has been married for 4 years since she was 18 now she is 22 , she had ason at 19, but she has been seeing another guy for almost a year now and I've always tried to tell her if she thinks she doesn't love her husband then they should seperate for a while or get a divorce...Before she got married and we were in High School I alwasy told her she was too young to get married and handle a responsibility like that ...But has you can see it didn't stop her? So why is that when married women have fights, or don't get enough Love and affection from their husband they look for it else where?

My daughter is 17 years old. She earned her GED this summer. She has no job and hasn't attempted to look for a job in the last few months. Yet now she has decided she is grown and should be able to do whatever she wants. Example includes - spending the night with her boyfriend at his mother's home. When I say "No" then she is "moving out". I don't want her to move out yet but I can't go on like this. Any advice?

I am getting a divorce and I have this friend who just so happens to be a guy, and to have a girlfriend. We are sooo compatible, we both have the same views on relationships and we both love hanging out together and I know as soon as my divorce is final, he is gonna be around all of the time. But what if I fall for him? He is a very independent man with a good job and he is responsible and nice and a gentleman....but I was thinking we should just stay friends and enjoy knowing that we have someone that we have so much in common with and not ruin it by making it into something more. Assuming that he even wants to. What do you guys think? And men...wouldn't you rather have a girl that you can hang out with and watch movies with and stuff but not have her teling you what to do all the time?
