I know it's here because it looked me in the eye last night! What do I do?? I haven't seen it today, but I know it's probably sleeping somewhere. Is it possible that the bat could have found the same spot where it got in and just let himself out again? This seems so unlikely, but like I say, I haven't seen him since last night.

I don't know if this will help, but we've got a 2-story 1930 home and the attic is finished. There's a vent in the little space above the finished attic, and now that I look, there's a tiny, tiny crack between the ceiling drywall and the chimney. I'd say it's about 1/2 inch wide. Could a bat fit in there??

(My husb. caught him, but he got away before they were outside.)

I was watching a news article on Reuters about the new tidal wave turbine project in N.Y. City. Good stuff! Horray, Green Power! If you have $100 dollars to spend today; invest in some sort of renewable resourse. I.E. Wind, Solar, or Bio Diesle. By the time the stock splits a few times then you'll have made a wise investment. Peace and love for the earth! Green, Green, Green!

Assume a new report by someone like the IPCC was released in three months' time. The report states they have found new major contributers to Global Warming and Climate Change and the other 'suspected' contributers are totally wrong.

The report states that the world is not warming as fast as previously thought and the potential consequences of climate change are less dramatic than we've seen so far, not radically different but perhaps 10 to 20% less serious.

You have invested a lot of time in research, maybe it is your job too. After you got over the shock, what would you do?
Would it prompt you to start acting in a different way?
Detailed plans/actions would be great too.

My neighborhood just started taking down trees and building in a wetlands without telling anyone. They started early in the morning. The town hasn't responded to any calls. Some of my friends live next to that wetlands and wasn't notified. It also was a big place for our animals to live, and they have gotten rid of all the trees. They are killing off so many animals! This can cause flooding on the streets to. They didn't let anyone have a hearing. They also are doing this in the way early morning so I can't sleep. I am just a kid though, so I don't know if I can do anything.

Where I live its parts woodsy, and there is a family of deer that come onto my property almost every day. Well recently one of the deer had a baby, and the baby is a very curious little thing. Almost too curious, since it has started following me around my yard. It keeps a safe distance, and does scare easily, but say I'm taking the garbage out- it'll follow me and then walk back with me to my house. Or when I pull into the driveway this baby deer will come out of the woods, and will come up to the back of my car while I get out. It doesn't do this to anyone else in my family.

So I'm just wondering what kinds of disease do deer normally carry?

When this technology becomes a standard for information distribution (like cellphones of today for mobile communications) one of the main risks is noise (non-information like advertisements and other exploitives). The main reason the internet is so saturated with noise is because it is dynamic, but so is information. So, how can the restrictions (to prevent noise from developing), without hampering information growth and distribution, be implimented?
