Not necessarily. Many people are exposed to others of their own race more than other races, so its more probable in that case to date someone of the same race. If you liked someone of another race and then didn't date them based on their race, that would be more indicative of racism.

No, I've never been called a racist for dating within my own race. I think the racism thing is about if you think that your race is superior. I guess you would have to think that white women are better for you if you date them and refuse to date any other women. I don't think you should be forced to date outside of your race though. You're white and maybe you want your kids to be white. I guess it might be racist because of the whole superiority deal. I just think people should date whoever they want. It's not hurting anyone, so if you want to date white, then date white.

And this has ? to do with the emvironment.
Anyway... it depends on the reason.
If you date only within your own race because that accounts for the vast majority of the people in your geographic area so there is no real choice, no that isn't racism.
To date within your own race exclusively by choice, no matter what the reason or intention, IS racism. So is choosing to date exclusively OUTSIDE your own race by choice.

I don't think its racist; people naturally feel more comfortable with someone of their own race. But if someone of a different race asked you out, and you said no because of their race, that would be racist.

If you're attracted to a certain type, do you simply date others for variety? That seems contrived. The gays say they are programmed to like same sex; why is it wrong to like a certain type of person? If you're honest and simply not limiting yourself because you might be afraid of other people's reaction to your dating people of other races, stick with who you like.

i don't think that is racist. most people prefer that they date the same race as them. if you go to stores that is how you would see it. but some people think it it racist. but rally it is not. their opinions don not matter. it is what you think and that is what matters. so its really your choice.

I think it's preference. Some white girls say they don't find black men attractive, it's perfectly normal. Furthermore, studies have shown that it is harder to tell someone apart that itsn't in your race.

I don't think it's racist. I think it's your preference. I've heard plenty of black women say they prefer black men..so why can't white women say they prefer white men? I prefer my own race also.
