Where I live its parts woodsy, and there is a family of deer that come onto my property almost every day. Well recently one of the deer had a baby, and the baby is a very curious little thing. Almost too curious, since it has started following me around my yard. It keeps a safe distance, and does scare easily, but say I'm taking the garbage out- it'll follow me and then walk back with me to my house. Or when I pull into the driveway this baby deer will come out of the woods, and will come up to the back of my car while I get out. It doesn't do this to anyone else in my family.

So I'm just wondering what kinds of disease do deer normally carry?

I am surprised it is so tame as deer usually flee from people. You should contact your nearest humane society and inquire. Meanwhile how cool that a fawn would get so close to you. The closest I ever came to one was while canoeing and there was a fawn on the rivers edge. They are so cute.

All the same things cows can get, like hoof and mouth, and a disease similar to mad cow.
