I have a black and decker rice cooker, after less than 2.5 years the coating on the bottom has worn off, and I can't clean it so need another one. I hate to send this to the land fill, any ideas on how it might be recycled?

Whether it's Rachel Carson or Al Gore or scores of others, why do people seem to want to discredit the bearer of bad news? I don't know if this trend is more pronounced in environmental matters, but that may be the case since the discipline is a relatively new one.

It would seem that offering a solid repudiation of the work would suffice.

Some global warming skeptics frequently make the same unfounded claims. Assuming the statements haven't been made up, where are they getting their information from?

Here's a dozen such examples...

· Global warming is entirely natural
· The sun is the sole cause of global warming
· Mars is warming at the same rate as Earth
· The solar system is warming
· Global warming does more good than harm
· CO2 is not a pollutant
· We're still recovering from the Little Ice Age
· The sun is getting hotter
· In a few years the world will be cooling
· Scientists have never made an accurate prediction
· Most climate scientists say humans are not to blame
· Global warming was invented by politicians / Al Gore

If you're a skeptic, perhaps you could explain the origins of some of these statements or better still, include links to credible websites that verify these claims.

Its all over the news, there are signs everywhere.

So why do you pollute?

Is it that hard to go to a trash can, or put that trash in a bag and throw it when you get a chance?

Is that lazyness worth you dying?

TO PARENTS: Teach your children to save the planet.. Throw your trash in a trash can.. And recycle..
If you don't what future will they have?

RECYCLE, DON'T POLLUTE

If you search for Solarsystem Warming, you can find an alarming amount of information on the fact that the sun is causing global warming. I love that we are trying to live withour envirment, but do they have to get us to live that way by lieing? Al Gore won a peace prize by lieing, as found by a british court. Are there that many ignorant people in the world that just belive what they are told and don't ind the truth for themselves?
