Its all over the news, there are signs everywhere.
So why do you pollute?
Is it that hard to go to a trash can, or put that trash in a bag and throw it when you get a chance?
Is that lazyness worth you dying?
TO PARENTS: Teach your children to save the planet.. Throw your trash in a trash can.. And recycle..
If you don't what future will they have?

i agree with you. save the earth.
but like to point out to you that recycling saves the earth but not necessary reduce global warming.
recycling cuts waste that needs to be disposed.
but recycling not necessary reduce global warming. e.g. country A uses hydro energy to extract aluminum and tin into drinking cans, country B uses energy from coal to recycle the drinking cans into aluminum and tin.
so for country B, to do more to save the earth, is to use less energy or switch to non-coal energy. for country B, recycling will result in burning of more coal, releasing of more greenhouse gases.
using less energy is the key to reducing global warming.
also a proper governance of how the material is recycled.
in some countries, copper is extracted from cables by burning the rubber away, which releases toxic fumes and greenhouse gases

I guess you do not understand what Global Warming is? It has nothing to do with solid pollution, but is gas pollution. Do you believe or try to believe people. I do to, but on a big question that may take more taxes, I investigate! You should too! We need to do something about our solid wastes and that is a fact. But that does not contribute to the Global Warming, nor does our production of Greenhouse gas! it is the earth aging that is doing this and that is fact. Active volcanoes produce about 96% of these! So that has nothing to do with solid waste. When St. Helen blow her top, it made more Greenhouse gas than all the vehicles and factories in the U.S. for a full year! Think about it! I agree with reduction in solid waste and the planting of trees. We have example with Israel. They planted trees many years ago in the dessert. Now they export many veggies and fruits in that same area! Do you see that facts and knowledge can save our planet and that corrupt politics can only destroy our planet and even some nations? Gore, should be given the liar of the year award for getting so many to believe the lies! God bless, Earl

The same reason you pollute. Not everyone throws their trash where it is supposed to go, not saying I don't. However, I believe that the most of the pollution is coming from driving our cars to get where we need to go. Can you say that you don't drive? Can you say that you don't use an air conditioner? Can you say that you don't use aerosol cans (hairspray, air freshener)? Can you say that you don't use a refrigerator? Well, all of these things and plenty more are polluting. So, why do you pollute?

Littering doesn't cause global warming.
Recycling only decreases visual pollution.
I personally don't like litter bugs. Trash on the street hurts my sensitive eyes.

I DO throw away my garbage in an appropriate manner. My children do the same. I tell them all the time "The outside world is the home of the animals and plants. The animals don't come to our home and throw trash on the floor so, we shouldn't throw trash in their home."
So, not all people are lazy.

Dying from global warming. It's the changing climate man. Yeh people who pollute the earth are idiots, but to claim that it has anything to do with global warming is nonsense.

Hello Glamorous Unicorn.
When will you and your type learn that you do not convert people's way of thinking by preaching and moaning at them like you are here. You need to educate people - not bully them.
You automatically assume that we are all lazy gits who can't even be bothered to walk to a rubbish bin. I find that deeply insulting.
And what gives you the right to preach?
As you have used the expression "trash can" you must be American. So you belong to the country that is one of the biggest culprits when it comes to environmental issues - one that won't commit to decreasing it's huge negative impact on our Earth.
Go and sort out the problems in your own country before you preach to the rest of us.

Nobody is going to die from global warming, or litter. And littering will not cause global warming. And recycling will not help stop global warming.
But still, don't litter. It is actually illegal by the way.

I agree that littering is something that we should avaoid and teach our children to avoid. But enough with the Al Gore, doom and gloom, we're all gonna die scenario.
