Terrorism - It's real.

Depends who you ask.

If you ask the average American if they would prefer to give up their SUV or lauch a few cruise missiles into Afganistan - they will say terrorism is worse.

Ask someone living in a tropical island in the south Pacific with their home a couple of feet above sea level, - they'll say well we don't have any terrorism here - probably global warming is worse.

(edit) Dana1981, That link you provided doesn't look credible. The UN is not attributing 150 000 deaths per year to global warming.

Global warming is more worse as terrorism can be taken care of even later when the world advances more. But if we don't take care of global warming now,it will worsen in the later yrs..leading to more and more problems in the world...it may also cause the world to come an end..

Both are bad - terrorism is temporary and can be contained but global warming will be more terrific in its holocast - sample this global phenomenon that has already set in the bio-diversity areas-

Every hour 3 species are disappearing
Every day 150 species are lost
Every year between 18,000 to 55,000 species are vanishing.
70 per cent of polar bears will disappear in 50 years
Glaciers are melting fast
Sea level is rising
Hurricanes are gaining extra height
Earth is being gobbled up on sea shores
People are becoming homeless
Gale force is increasing
Either floods or severe draught
Either too hot or too cold seasons

In Bangalore, my home was being unauthorisedly shared periodically by sparrows for their nesting purpose about 15 years ago. Now, they have simply disappeared. It may be or may not be due to global warming. But some change in our environment is taking place and is driving living creatures into extinction. Man will be the next target.

I have to go with terrorism, but like global warming, it is not as bad as people say it is. You are far more likely to get hurt or killed in an auto accident than by terrorism. But how much action has the president and congress taken to reduce auto accidents? Strange how we accept over 40,000 deaths per year every year from auto accidents without hardly a thought but the 9/11 attacks which killed only 3,000 in one year several years ago are still top news.

Global warming will end when the world runs out of coal and oil, in a few hundred years, but terrorism, like war, will probably always be part of human civilization.

I'd have to say global warming because it kills far more people.

The WHO estimates that global warming is currently responsible for 150,000 deaths worldwide annually, and that this number will double in 20 years.

http://www.ens-newswire.com/ens/dec2003/2003-12-12-10.asp

Even though terrorism has increased after the Iraq War, there are still only about 20,000 deaths caused by terrorism annually.

http://uk.biz.yahoo.com/30042007/325/terrorism-deaths-rose-40-percent-2006.html

So global warming is responsible for almost a factor of 10 more deaths per year.

for me i think terrorism can or might be able to prevent. but global warming might wipe out the whole animal and human population on earth. so i think global warming is worse.

Terroism. In a couple decades though, we're going to have to act on Global Warming though because if the Earth is getting cooked, who's going to take care of the terroists?

Since the net consequences of global warming are positive, I would say terrorism and complacency toward terrorism is worse.

Right now, terrorism. In 20 years global warming will be starting to cause more damage than terrorists dream of.

But we need to start right now to fix global warming. Reducing fossil fuel use will take a long time.

And, as a side benefit, if we stop giving money to radical governments for oil, less of it will find its' way to the terrorists.

Ben O's answer is good.
