Examples: lighters have been found in and around my house, one was very pretty; my inside door handle was taken half off and then disappeared, lights were all on once when I came home, items outside my house appear to have been moved too...a brand new fishing pole with a tag (no note) was found propped up against my mom's house today (who lives 6 hours away)....what the heck is this?? Absolutley no one I know would do it...dont even have friends around me here...any suggestions to this? My roommate thinks I'm paranoid!!

It is apparent that global warming supporters virtually root for the kind of horrible weather conditions that can help them promote global warming "fixes," such as taking away SUVs and limiting the amout of heating and air conditioning you can do in your home.

They predicted a major rise in hurricanes after the bad season two years ago, but the opposite has happened.

Do you think it makes the global warm-ers look like alarmists? Do you think it exposes them as people with a political agenda, which would be stop technological advances and allow the government to exert more - total - control over the masses?

now just so u know i fully believe in global warming, but i have one problem with it. a bunch of studies and whatnot say that when the polar ice caps melt the water level will rise so many feet causing massive flooding. but wouldnt the water level drop? when water freezes it gets larger, so when it melts it would get smaller.

so when the polar ice caps melt wouldnt the water level lower?

There's been several questions posted by people worried that global warming will kill them. Even in the very worst case scenario this isn't the case. It's certainly not what the scientists are saying and as far as I'm aware it's not what the media are saying.

I was wondering where people are getting this impression from.

Johny claims that Al Gore's Son is gay! His statement - "If you're concerned about Al gore's son, why don't you go ask him out? Maybe he's the kind who'll let you get lucky on the first date? "

Could it be that global warming has caused a genetic defect or some sort of mental retardation passed on from his mother?

In "An Inconvenient Truth", Mr. Gore during his powerpoint presentation says the temperature-CO2 relationship “is actually very complicated.”

WHy complicated? Could it be that the following studies provide evidence in the paleoclimatic record that higher global temperatures PRECED high CO2 levels, i.e. CO2 is an effect, not a cause of high temperatures?

After all, it is humans that are causing this.. Wouldn't it be better if the human population drops so that all the little critters can be happy again and not have to be worried about being run over by Al Gore's son driving a hundred-miles-an-hour in his hybrid car?

I love wasting gas and electricity. I drive a hummer. I leave all of my lights, tv, radio and computer on 24 hours a day. I take a 45 minute shower twice a day. I know that is bad but I just dont care.

My local town has facilities to recycle paper, glass, cans, plastic and cardboard and the local council collects much of this as well as garden waste but what do I do with old batteries and toys or electronic equipment? They all state they are not to be put in the dustbin on the packaging but must be recycled, but where and how? I don't know of any recycling point for these items. Can anyone help?
