May be you are right.
But we must try to understand what is going on.
I think the focus is too much on the firing of carbon and the discussion on how to not fire so much.
The planet has had all its carbon all the time.
A lot of it has been stored in the ground, the mines an oil-reservoirs.
There is not so much discussion about the trees as a natural reservoir of carbon. The trees also take the carbon out of the air and clean it.
If you creates a situation with enough tress on the planet, you might have solved the problem.
And this trees might be burned when they are old.
Dead trees live the carbon to the atmosphere anyhow.
Let us have a giant forest to help us clean the air and store carbon and in in additon give us fuel.

Mr-Know-It-All has answered the question very well. Echelon is typical of a person who hates people and wishes they were all dead so the world would be perfect. Echelon I nominate you to go first, please take your fellow human haters with you into mass suicide, do your part in eliminating humanity.

Good. Now that we're rid of the idiots the rest of us can realistically manage the planet for the good of all life, especially our own.

Trying to stop Climate Change, when one volcano [Nature] can produce more greenhouse gasses than Man can produce in 10 years is like trying to bail water out of the Titanic with a bucket. You will slow the sinking fractionally, but the ship will still sink. Man produces very little of the total CO2 in the air, about 4%. To reduce our CO2 by half would destroy our civilisation and millions would die. That would make Echelon and her ilk very happy.

Want to guess Echelon's political choices? Extreme Leftist, Socialist, Communist? Who pushes GW panic, taxes and laws? Who are their sympathizers and fellow-travellers and how far out are they? It is the GW crowd that should be feared, nature can be dealt with or adapted to, unlike tyrants.

People need to stop this horrible misuse of information regarding global warming.

1.) Yes, global warming is real.
2.) Global warming is a natural cycle the sun and earth go through. You nay have heard of the other name for global cooling... "ice age".
3.) It will not kill you, but you should know about it.
4.) A single volcanic eruption (like the one about to happen in Alaska) releases more greenhouse gasses than the total output of humans for decades.
5.) The rise in the earth's temperature can be directly related to a rise in output from the sun. There have been similar temperature increases on other planets in our solar system (and you don't see people trying to get Martians to drive hybrid cars do you?)
6.) There is a huge amount of money at stake here and the information you are receiving about global warming is attached to a larger agenda from people who are out to make a buck cashing in on your fears.
7.) Don't be a sheep. It's good that you are seeking the truth, just be careful who who accept the "truth" from. I prefer scientists myself as opposed to politicians.

I linked a SCIENTIFIC explanation of global warming below from a non-partisan SCIENTIFIC source... www.space.com you might find it interesting at the least.
I suggest anyone who discusses this topic to read it, it just might open your eyes.

Hope this helps!

Stop the cutting of trees. Grow more trees and protect them. Recycle bottles, cans, newspapers, aluminum foils, etc made from trees. Recycle batteries. Save energy by switching off lights, fans, etc. Try to use solar energy. Try to save energy.

Humans neither have the theoretical knowledge nor the technical ability to control the climate (thankfully). Fossil fuel emissions have at most a fractional effect on global temperature and if we stopped all use, it would hardly make a measurable difference.
CO2 in total only accounts for 3% of the greenhouse gas effect and man's activity only accounts for 2.75% of the total CO2, so mans activity in total contributes 0.08% to the greenhouse effect, and the greenhouse effect is only one element in many that make up the global climate picture.

The mainstream political parties all agree that the only answer to global warming is extra taxation. So far none of them have been able to produce any evidence of how much of an effect extra taxes will guarantee.Obviously it's a scam and the greedy buggers are all on the bandwagon

No. By prolonging it we are giving ourselves more time to change to greener lifestyles so hopefully we will be able to stop global warming completely and at perhaps reverse some of its effects.

not really......who noes maybe if we manage to prolong it long enough the next Iceage may arrive n we'll all have a fresh new start!! so keep trying to reduce global warming!!
