it's been happening since the ice-age but it's only been an issue in this country since the Iron Lady needed to win over the masses with the winding down of the coal industry it's a fantastic source of revenue for any successive government since if we have great earth quake within the next 20-50 years all life could end on earth what would the "Powers That Be"blame then. Fear is a great money earner

As I understand it, Global Warming (more accurately called Climate Change) will make Great Britain (GB) colder. The Gulf Stream, which brings warm ocean currents across the Atlantic (from Central American waters) to GB (which makes it warmer year round) won't be as warm, therefore Britain will be colder - more like other areas at the same latitude (like Eastern Canada) which has much colder winters.

The scientists say that the temperature is rising, and that the amount of CO2 in the air is too high.
Probably Great Britain will bee warmer. But will have the same meteorological variations still. Some Winters still might be could.
But in average the temperature is rising.

The "edges" of Britain will be under water in 50 years. Few miles in. However, floods and things are also a result of global warming which as you may notice have been happening a lot more recently.

As far as the sea lever goes...

It will be like what happened a hundred years ago when there was that massive flood. Since most of Britain is really low most of it will be underwater, especially the old cities

London will be flooding and a blood thirsty alien will be ripping out the hearts of the citizens of London and eating them. Rutger Hauer will chase it. You will be subjected to gratuitous amounts of Michael J. Pollard.
