I'm assuming by the posts that most here are rather young. Why are so many of you spewing Big Oil propaganda denying global warming? These fat cats are going to be dead in 20 years while they leave you a life of misery and pain from global warming. Are you really that gullible and stupid to fall for their profit driven agenda that would ruin your life?

That way there would be one less hour of daylight, and less time for the Earth to get warm.

i mean theres totall proff and you dont have to like al gore to believe it . Look at the enviorment , certain animals are becoming endangered thanks to the weather , look at the artic ice , its melting very fast , look at how bad the air is , all you need to do is walk outside for that one , and if you dont care about that then what about all the scientists who totally believe it , ok and if you dont believe that then what about the fact that this summer has record breaking heat , ( RECORD BREAKING!!!!) thats not normal , and what about all the huricanes in the past few years , we've seen many more than normal , and they have been much worse.......plain and simple every year the weather is getting worse , you cant even walk outside without sunscreen anymore , not because of a burn but because of the risk of skin cancer . and if you dont believe any of this ( oviously because your an idiot ) then why dont you just watch al gores movie....

Allow me to clarify...a species of animal (IDK, lets say the Cheetah) is going to end up extinct unless you kill a single man. You will be tried in court and the evidence against you will be overwhelming But by killing this one single guy, the entire species will be guaranteed safe for at least as long as you live.

Do you do it?

Everyone was repeatedly told on tv, that the reason for the bad rainfall in the uk was the positioning of this jet stream, It is higher than it usually is this time of year. But what we were never told was a reason..Does anyone have one??? Why did the jet stream move, and what caused it?

do they realize that by saying this, they make people question their ability to form a coherent argument, and thereby lose all credibility? i think that argument technique was popularized in the dark ages.

I personally question the effects of humans on global warming, partially because of these people.

By the way...I am God, and if you don't believe that, you are a moron.

How can we fight global warming and look for alternative gas when corn gas still needs gasoline to work? Are we going about it the wrong way? With all the mordern technology we could drill for oil and gas with out mess around with the environment. Which we should do because it would be very stupid of us to give the people we are fight money for gas to live and therefore giving them money in which to find a ways and means to fight us. So are we biting the hand that feeds us.

Once science is proven, once we know the facts, isn't it time to stop funding the research? After all, how much money does it take to keep on proving something is right?

It's time to shut down climate research since we now have accurate computer models that can do the job for us.

We no longer have to study what we know as fact. It’s now time to move on to other science that needs discovering!

the earth does this every few thousand years, it's in every science book. there was what was called "The LIttle Ice Age" in 1100-1400 and a heat wave before and after that. It's a proven fact that vegitation grew in Iceland and Greenland just 400-500 years ago from warming just like this one. I don't understand how this time, it's man's fault the earth is just following it's scientific pattern. Someone tell me how this is wrong please.

How long will it take before everyone realises the Global Warming hoo-har is bunkum? Isn't it all a political charade to prevent Third World progress and industrialisation; progress that would upset the Western economy?

Seeing as CO2 is less than 1% of the atmosphere, how much of that <1% is man made and can it be measured? Does it really have an effect? More so than say water vapour in the form of clouds?

The Earth is meant to warm up and cool down, that's the nature of a dynamic, enclosed environment. Carbon Footprints are a product of marketing departments to ensure you (and me) part with our cash in taxes and 'green friendly' products.

Don't be hoodwinked peeps, it's all about Business and Governments getting their hands on your money!
