For me personally, it hasn't changed my life much except for me hearing about it and stressing over it. I know though because of reasearch done that when I am a lot older it will have changed my life and the lives of many.

When I was young we had an eccentric elderly lady neighbour who said the weather was very odd and that the atomic bomb tests were affecting it. Now the general opinion (at least in the UK) seems to be that the weather is indeed odd and that it is climate change (or global warming) caused by largely by man's activities. Concern about global warming has led me to buy a more economical car but that is not very life changing and I now recycle more. I am interested in the various technologies to reduce CO2 emissions and in the measures governments are taking to reduce emissions (rather slow).

It has been stimulating to discuss with intelligent people the pro's and con's.
It has been tho very frightening to see how uneducated so many people are, and how easily they are taken in by slick packaging and honeyed and poisoned words. Fault of our government run and regulated school system, that penalizes good students and independent thinking.
I have been astounded by how people fall for projections that have not happened before, far as history shows, in similar warmings. This is NOT a first time!! Just the first time we have had folks positioned to make money, big money, off fear and confusion, and buy up all the experts.
It has made me an advocate of stopping things like the rape of the jungles to plant oil palms. And of stopping using our schools to politicize the children and deaden their ability to think clearly and concisely.
It has made me far more aware of the benefits to mankind if we put our money into moving into space, rather than cosmetics of expensive midget cars, and submitting to government controls ala "1984", which it appears few have read! Which will only stave off, perhaps, what will happen naturally anyhow.
Made me more of an activist in FAVOR of Global warming, since I studied History a bit, and found out how much better life is when the Global is Warmed!!
And stepped back and saw it does not need to be a disaster, unless we make it so.
Cooperating with Nature will give us more food, more room for the coming population, more raw materials, more time for arts and aesthetic pursuits, more variety of experiences and places to go...benefits are innumerable, tho we have to see them in History, and grasp them now, in spite of those politicians and businessmen who want it all to themselves. And wish to get rid of the "Inconvenient Truths" of History, in favor of "money now and we will be gone before the future judges us"!
