I don't think that global warming is leading people to become suicidal, we've got a heck of a long way to go before it get's that bad, if it even does.
The propoganda from big oil is largely in the past. A few years ago all the oil copmpanies and many big businesses denied global warming. Now every major oil company and big corporation in the world publicly acknowledges it.
Trouble is, many of them are hypocrites as well. Some of the oil companies that are publicly stating we need to address global warming are at the same time funding certain fringe groups in the hope they can discredit the science of global warming.
It's not happening on anything like the sclae it was but ExxonMobil are still offering $10,000 plus expenses to any credible source that can come up with anything to refute manmade global warming.
Much of what we read and hear is the aftermath from campaigns waged by big oil several years ago when they used their in house scientists to release somewhat questionable reports. Several oil companies are furiously backpedalling now and claiming they knew nothing about such reports.
In short, the oil companies aren't as bad as they were and quite a few of them are now very much taking the lead in the fight against global warming.
What I recommend to people is that they are skeptical of all they hear regarding global warming and only accept something as accurate if it can be traced back to a reliable source.

Which "fat cats" are you talking about? Like Al Gore making large amounts of money from book sales, movie revenues, and speaking engagements.
Global warming is real. The earth is warming at a rate of less than 1C per decade. The real questions are whether humans are causing the problem and what the result will be.
Consider this. Humans live in places from deserts where the temperatures are 120F to the poles where the temps are often -40F. Humans have survived earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and droughts. So why would global warming cause the destruction of the human race?

Global warming has been happening for hundereds of years, it is a natural cycle which we, as humans, can not stop.
If everyone drove electric cars you would still get your electricity from a plant that uses different energy sources than hydro or solar.
What are YOU doing about it? You're on the internet, using electricity so you're not helping.
Go live in a cave and hunt and gather if you are that worried about it.

Yea, Algore's family fortune comes from their ownership of Occidental Petroleum. Look how much the price of oil has gone up after that bogus movie with animated polar bears. He's fortune as gone up with the price of oil making a profit two ways.
How does it feel to embrace an oil profiteer like Algore?

I don't listen to the oil guys matter of fact I don't think I have any hear any of them say anything, have they said anything???? I guess I'm just not going to the right places, but either way I really don't care what you say you and your ignorance can pay the extra to pretend like you are making a difference, and still there is evidence to denounce it not from oil companies but from other scientist true scientist, not like a lot of those stupid liberals, who only pretend to know what they are talking about...........................
So you can go tell Al Gore that he will never make a moron out of me like he has out of you :)...........................

I've recovered to some degree. I still have social anxiety, though I have been able to overcome much of it. It caused me to be depressed. All in all, *I* attribute it to being gay. Yeah, that's right. When you feel different, it happens.

We are so close to the end of time ( 2012 ), so the youth of this world know this in their hearts of hearts. They have nothing to look forward to.
God is their only answer for direction and hope. With god in your heart you have total freedom and understanding for the times that are coming.
prepair yourself with hope and faith. It is our only hope.
